Can he go all the way without dropping a set?
He already did it twice at RG.
He already did it twice at RG.
He's going to drop 3 very soon to Novak in the final I think.
Nadal is also the only semifinalist who had a Challenger level draw, so it all kind of evens out
Djokovic's draw:Even as a Nadal fan, I can't disagree with that. Novak still luckier with his Futures level draw though.
Djokovic's draw:
#80 Ymer
#66 Berankis
#153 Galan
#16 Khachanov
#18 Carreno
#6 Tsitsipas
Nadal's draw:
#83 Gerasimov
#236 McDonald
#74 Travaglia
#213 Korda
#75 Sinner
#14 Schwartzman
Djokovic had to play a fourth round and a QF. Nadal got 5 byes to the semis, and has an easier semi as well
Easier semi?, Tsitsipas better than Schwartzman on such a clay court?, Guy beat nadal 3 weeks back. It's about even or maybe a tad tougher for nadal due diego being a tough matchup for him whereas Tsitsipas isn't tough matchup for djokovic it's other way around. Also of next gen djokovic prefers Tsitsipas most i feelDjokovic's draw:

Sinner is ranked some 60 spots below PCB and lost their one head-to-head match this year. But of course he is "much better" according to RafansSinner is much better than PCB. And Schwartzman is on fire right now. He can beat anyone if it's not a final.
Thrice! Can he go all the way without dropping a set?

What if Tsitsis vs Djoker goes to the distance? There's no way he wins this without dropping a set. The quality of opponent is about to pick up considerably with Schwartzman and then possibly Djokovic or Tsitsipas.
I think he at least drops a set to Diego, and then if he does come through that match and plays Novak in the final, it's really a 50-50 match and I wouldn't be surprised if that one goes 5.
Sinner is better player atleast for me, but he got tight after breaking Rafa, may be nerves and then after that match was more or less over.I mean, given the draw...
But PCB played at a comparable level to Sinner's first two sets and Djoker still dropped a set, so there's that I guess.
We will see how this plays out.
I can't tell when people are trolling anymore. Even when it's gross exaggeration such as the above.Djokovic's draw:

True. That’s provided Djokovic is fully fit and gets past Tsitsipas. Apparently Novak trained today with heat pad on again. He still having neck issues but hopefully he’s okay for tomorrow. There's no way he wins this without dropping a set. I hope you are right. Are you worried about Djok’s injury? Apparently he trained with the heat pad on his neck again. I just hope he’s fit enough for tomorrow. Not even thinking of final but his match with Tsitsipas and him being in good shape. He will drop three to Novak
I just want him to get DCGS and he can take the rest of the year off and recover fully.I hope you are right. Are you worried about Djok’s injury? A Challengers level draw for Nadal is quite true. Djokovic had the Junior's level, on the other hand. I agreeNadal is also the only semifinalist who had a Challenger level draw, so it all kind of evens out
Was it Djokovic who had TWO players ranked below 200, one of which was a Nadal fanboy? Was it Djokovic who didn't play a Top 70 player until the semis?A Challengers level draw for Nadal is quite true. Djokovic had the Junior's level, on the other hand. I agree
Djokovic | Nadal | |
First round | #80 Ymer | #83 Gerasimov |
Second round | #66 Berankis | #236 McDonald |
Third round | #153 Galan | #74 Travaglia |
Fourth round | #16 Khachanov | #213 Korda |
Quarterfinals | #18 Carreno | #75 Sinner |
Semifinals | #6 Tsitsipas | #14 Schwartzman |
Don't expect that to happen but hey the precedent is thereThe streak is still ON.
Will he able to win the final in 3 sets as well?
He's not going to straight set Diego. He literally hasn't faced anyone in the top 70 and only didn't lose 1st set to Sinner because Sinner choked.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahe is also yet to face a top 70 player over 5'7
no top 70 players until the SFHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
