Nadal to win USO

Court conditions can change quite drastically, take a look at what we saw at AO this year, they played nothing like what we were all expecting. So, it's a little to early to say Nadal will not like the conditions. If the bounce is low, then Nadal will struggle yes, but if the bounce is at least medium, then it actually works better for his aggressive game, because he can step in and hit those improved backhands more inside his wheelhouse. Nadal doesn't like high bouncing balls to his backhand side either.
We'll see. Right now I don't expect Nadal to win any more titles this year. But I never wanted to be proved wrong more than now.

I certainly don't expect Federer to mop up every single title from here until the end of the season, in fact I am not sure he will even play them all. Djokovic and Murray both left Wimbledon injured and have a cloud of uncertainty over them, we have no idea in what form they will return. Wawrinka struggles to peak for more than a couple of weeks a year and I think we may have already seen his best for the year in the first half. The next gen still haven't done anything to big, Zverev won Rome, but laid an egg in RG, got schooled by Federer in Halle and put away by a Raonic who is not even in great form compared to last year.

Nadal has chances to pick up big titles. We need to see how he comes out in Montreal, it is one of his fav HC events, he has a couple of titles there, been winning there since 05. Federer will not always be there to stop Nadal.

With Nadal finally healthy and with nemesis Djokovic injured it looks a good bet Nadal repeats 2013 and dominates American hard court summer.

We have yet to see La Decima confident Rafa v Federer on hard courts.

I've a feeling Rafa will be unstoppable at USO. Time will tell but its such a weigh off Rafas shoulders to have got his dream of La Decima.

This OP is most likely 90'sclay in disguise. Take a hint, moron, your posts here are pretty useless.

That's because he didn't play on clay.

True, but imagine if Nadal ever got deep in the draw at Wimbledon. Federer would have a healthy lead in the H2H. Actually, someone did a post a few years back and it was really revealing. It showed the H2H arguement in Federer's favour if you counted if he won the tournaments they both played, but Nadal failed to get to the final. Federer can only beat who's in front of him, it's a shame he was never consistent enough to get in to the later rounds. Those bloody journey men tennis players!

Has it ever happened in history that two men split the slams (2 each) in the same year? I don't think it has ever happened. Rafa winning the USO will be almost defying history.
