It has so much history and transgreses the sport that it means half the world who work will throw sickies or take annual leave on friday.

The reality is that this will be a mismatch. Out of tsitsipas wawrinka and Federer Nadal would have chose federer as a SF opponent. Out of the three Federers BH is by far the least effective. Federer and Wawrinka also cannot outlast Nadal...Tsitispas can do. Add it all up and Nadal has one foot in final.

Hard to believe these two met again at RG, 8 years after their most recent clash. I know this one's more for nostalgia since Nadal is the overwhelming fav (and for the right reasons), but as a tennis fan, I will never complain about getting to witness another Fedal match, especially at a major this late into their careers.

Also, for those of you here who are actual tennis fans, enjoy these matchups as much as you can as there won't be that many remaining...don't let those brainless trolls ruin this for everyone

Even as Nadal fan i think id like this to be the match of all time. Neither the players what they were in their prime but still the 2nd and 3rd best players around after all this time.

Would be epic for one last classic between two sporting icons.

This match will be tediously boring. Federer has no chances of putting a fight there because he's clearly playing way below and is mentally awol most of the time.

Yes...wawrinka v Nadal could have been a Ruiz v Joshua type scenario. Wawrinka on a good day even exhausted can hit that zone and hit anyone off the court...a knockout puncher if u will.
