nadal's knees worrying for fans

Some of you guys actually think Federer could win on Sunday.

Not only that, but some thing he'll then go on to win Wimbledon and the US Open.

That's 3 more slams right there. So yeah, I guess according to your logic, he might actually have 10-12 more in him if Nadal is through.

Course, the reality is he has 0 more in him and will get steamrolled on Sunday by a far superior and more talented tennis player.

You mean the "far superior and more talented player" that has never even made it past the 3rd round of ANY Grand Slam until now, while Federer has won 13 Grand Slams, has made it to 20 consecutive GS semis, and 17 of the last 20 GS finals? Yes, sounds like that player certainly does have a talent for........losing!

Call me a skeptic, but I dont think Nadal's knees are bothering him. I think he just wanted to take a break, maybe mentally, after the French.

He's been playing the whole year without his knees taped, so that gives the impression his knees havent been a concern that whole time.

If his knees had started acting up at some point during the clay court season, why havent we seen them taped up.

Its not like taping his knees is gonna compromise his movement/perfomance, cause he won the French, Wimby, and the Olympics last year with them taped.

He's been out of the French for a week now, thats plenty of time for rest and ice and anti inflammatories if he needed it. In his press conference he said his preparation would be for his swimming pool.

I think he just didnt feel like playing. Kinda like that 'virus' guys would get so they could pull out of tournaments.

LOL, a cortisone injection before EVERY match? Sure, if he wanted to kill himself. He got them every 3 months or so to numb his sciatic nerve in his hip, which is still a lot.

Well, yeah, that's what I heard on TV that he was getting one before every match. I know when I had elbow trouble, I was getting them certainly more often than every 3 months...
