nat gut! awesome

yup , i tried it on my Head FXP Rad MP today, and it feels so awesome.
It felt a little weird at first but after using it for about 5 min .. it's the best string i've ever used.

W/ nat gut:

_ More spin
_ More control
_ It feels softer when i hit the ball
_ I hit it with FULL POWER , and it didn't go out (amazing, never happened before with syn guts)
_ Serve - Flat serve .. AWESOME feel .. a lot more power
- Spin serve (kick, twist, ..) : kinda feel the same as syn gut (have no idea why .. maybe my serve isn't good enough)

:p I use Babolat Tonic + 16!!!

I think everyone should give it a try!

Hey if you pay for it, I'll definitely give it shot.

If he does pay for it give me half, alright?
If only I had a reason to try nat. gut ,despite the big cost factor, I would.

Yea, give the OTHER half to me....i would love to try natural gut in a hybrid...then again, if i take the last half there wouldnt be any left for you...but then again, you got it for free so you wouldnt lose anything...

sure why not, if you pay for the shipping , which i ask for around $30

well, it's worth it tho!! and im not a string breaker, so I shouldn't break it until next month i hope.

I see that u use Luxilon Big Banger , and my friend also has it for his Yonex RDS 001, so i tried it.
I can tell you that there's a huge difference between those two ... and yea .. a huge difference in the cost too ...

I prefer hybrid stringing, which I think is more cost-effective and offers more playability. I string gut mains and Signum PPP crosses. The string also doesn't move much as compared to full gut job.

even if you get sponsored somebody like babolat they dont give it to u for free, unless you are a highly reanked preferred player or pro.

Yeah I'll be damned if they give any sponsored player free nat gut. College players get nice deals on racquets and tennis clothes. Highly ranked players/pros get stuff for free, but not us.

The Hurricane will ruin it. Hurricane drops tension like a rock and can't match the gut. It will ruin the stringbed. Resist. Just go all gut.

Hey Stan you sure that it will ruin it? I was thinking of that kind of hybrid too, I've heard good things about the power that the hurricane offers. You sure it doesn't lose tension depending on how high you string?

And what gauages do you guys suggest on a hybrid of gut and hurricanes? Is the 16 have enough feel where it's better to have them for durability compared to the 17s?

an inside secret that only pros know about is that human intestines are much better than cattle intestines. there is a whole industry of people secretly using the BDE machinery at off times to create ULTRA premium gut strings.
it costs over $150 a set and you have to know whom to contact to even try to get it.... some pros are stocking up on it since authorities are going to close the whole operation once the public finds out about it.

lol and here's where all the skeptics come out. Come on now, human intestines on racquets? I doubt the pros would find that humane.
