Nationals-Hotel/Resort Recommendation

My team is going to Nationals in Tuscon. Anybody got any hotel or resort recommendations? Bringing my wife so I was looking for something with a pool and a spa. Thanks!

The USTA recommended hotel (DoubleTree) is typically where a huge majority of the players stay because it is walking distance to the tennis courts. It has a pool and spa with a golf course nearby as well. Also, that's where the player's party is held. It is a pretty decent hotel. Not much to do around the area after tennis so it was nice that the place itself is quite comfortable. For less than a hundred it isn't too bad. There maybe cheaper places around but you would want the place you are staying at to be the least of your worries when you get there. The ball will feel a little lighter because of the altitude. It is recommended to have your strings tighter a little more than normal to control the ball better. Hydration is very important. It can get really HOT! Good luck and have fun!

Rooms at the Doubletree were going fast last I heard. They would only let our captain reserve 7 rooms for our entire team.

I forgot to mention what ktownva posted. Snatch them up before it is too late. Otherwise, you may end up paying a lot more for a night's stay at the same or other hotel in the area. The special rate rooms are very limited. Great addition, ktownva.

I've stayed at a Doubletree. They're awesome! Our's had restaurants and shopping. Don't hardly have to leave it to socialize.
