Navratilova is the best former player/analyst

Listening to all the former player/analysts, e.g. McEnroe and Connors, I think Martina really is the best analyst in terms of understanding the nuances of what a player is thinking, stroke technique/problems, in game strategy etc. Listening to her with Ted Robinson on the Stosur/Dementieva match tonight, she did some really awesome work.

Connors really sounds neutral all the time and McEnroe really badgers and complains versus really providing real player analysis and in game insight.

The best part about Martina is that she has something interesting and/or complimentary to say about just about any player, while pointing out what he/she can improve upon. She talks too much, though IMO.
