Hi guys,

Does anyone here know whether Babolat would be releasing a new APDC soon?

educated guesses welcomed.

I'm deciding whether to get one now or to wait... it'll be quite crappy to get one now only to have them go on clearance sale in a halfyear's time since they've been out for quite some time.

Thanks

I'd just go for it now, assuming you've tried it out and like it.

It seems like Babolats never go on sale. Seriously. The Pure Drive Roddick has been out for quite some time, and now the PDR GT is out. The older PDR is only $10 cheaper than the PDR GT. Another example: The Pure Storms. They've been around for a bit, were "replaced" by the Aero Storm frames, and again are just $10 cheaper than the newer Aeros.

Considering it's widespread popularity, I don't think that the APDC will go on sale even after a replacement comes out. It might drop that $10, but is it really worth waiting for the new ones to come out to save $10 on a frame?

TW has hidden sales from time to time. I bought mine and I was surprised that it was $30 off list when I saw what they charged me. Maybe they were just clearing them out to make room for the PDRGT.

I totally agree.Babolat would see a big increase in sales if they took they're older popular racquets and decreased the price. But they'll just go with their tradition to keep them the same price and let wilson, head, dunlop, etc. get all the money

Watch you be wrong! That'd be some laughs.
But if you like a racquet and you play considerably well, take the chance and buy it. You can always sell it later.
