New design trend of Racquets with Clash formula?

Is the Clash merely a wide beamed racquet with a flexible layup?.....I thought thick beam stiff frame equals power and flexy thin beam frames were arm friendly with low power......My head Graphene 360 Radical "S" was demoed alongside a Clash 108 and I bought the Rad....powerful with huge sweet spot, easy on the arm (chronic TE sufferer)...too light so I filled the frame with foam....weighs out at 11.8 now...was similar to Clash but I loved the power spin I could put on the ball and just great feel(61 RA)...The beam width is 26 at 3&9 which I thought was granny-ish at the time but found no problem with framing the ball or control....industry design trend?....I've stopped my search among vintage frames( for a low RA & TE cure) and am loving this modern 'take ' which gives me controlled power and TE relief....

Definitely several racquet manufacturers are getting some arm friendlier frames back in their lineups. The Radical S has a Flex rating of 61 which is pretty arm friendly.
