Andy and HEAD announced today the launch of the next generation of the Radical racquet series: the HEAD Graphene™ Radical.

The new generation of the Radical racquet series now combines the best features of the Radical concept with the latest material innovation: Graphene™. Being extremely lightweight but with a breaking strength 200 times greater than steel, Graphene™ allows for the first time an optimal redistribution of weight: the weight is where it is most needed for perfect playability.

Commenting on his latest racquet, Andy said “The new HEAD Graphene™ Radical really suits my game. It gives me the power I need without compromising on my creativity on court.”

The new Radical Graphene™ Series is globally available at retail from November 4th onwards.

And we all know this is a bunch of crap! Seriously, I used to think racquet companies thought we were idots but I seriously am starting to think they are idiots.

How about a compromise: both are idiots. After all, we have plenty of "will this racket" help my one handed backhand(or serve, or feel on volleys etc.).

The only truthful thing in that ad is the disclaimer at the bottom of the page:
"HEAD Pro Players may play with different racquets than the model shown"

Indeed, compromising on his creativity... LMFAO..

With the disclaimer on the very bottom as VS pointed out, he really shouldnt be able to say "suits my game, it gives me the power i need" as it implies that he uses the frame.

He should say "its an amazing frame with more power than what is out there" or something that shows he has tested it but doesnt use it.

The lines are blurred otherwise.

I got news that Andy Murray has finally decided to use the red CAP grommets. He previously refused to use the clear ones because he thought it changed the feel of the racquet and felt stiffer

I didn't buy it yet, but just took it out to demo today, along with the Head Youtek Speed Pro. Got too late to do anything other than practice my serve, but I definitely rate the new Radical Pro above the Speed Pro as far as the Serve is concerned, but still a close 2nd to my Wilson six.one 95 16x18, which has a little extra heft and comes out like a rocket. Nothing that adding a little extra weight won't cure though. It's a little unfair to the demos that they don't have my preferred strings either (currently Volkl Cyclone on the Wilson, gives me the control I need to tame that extra weight).
