I still have that shirt!.. and the shorts too!.. but I have to look for it...

I had that kit, and the ‘92 French Open kit.

my favorite of all was the ‘95 green kit...looked like a baseball jersey...had the warms ups for that one too.

the only Agassi gear I still have is the 2000 Aussie Open shirt (still bust it out on the court too...always get offers from someone to buy it) and the skull & crosses racquet hat.

my shoes arrive next week

Agree. Don’t see the point of relating it to AA when clearly It’s closer to an oscillate than a tech challenge

the oscillate was a great show though, so it’s not a ‘bad’ thing...just a marketing gimmick.
In person the shoes look great...pics don’t really do them justice

I'm on the fence about ordering these, I really enjoy the look but have no way of trying them first as no shops offer them locally.
How does the comfort compare to the Vapors?

Yeah, me too. I just need to know how the length fit is. I think I'm a 10 in both the Vapor X and Cage 3. I think I would be a 9.5 in the Zoom Zeros, and from reading comments think the same for the Cage 4.

I have the same question as well.
I don't want to do a blind buy and have the wrong size.

If the other forum you are referring to, was Niketalk, that was me posting what was shown in the catalog. I got to view it at my local shop last week. I'm going back tomorrow to pick up my Tech Challenge 20s and if I can look at the catalog again, I want to take a few shots of what's in it.

But yes, in the catalog was the same shirt he wore vs Pete in '90. Short front long tail in Neon Yellow, now Volt. And the shorts were listed too. Denim like with volt spandex. And also was a pair of the old shorts with thearge challenge court flaming ball logo on the one whole side. They have A LOT coming out. If I can get pics tomorrow I will post them on NT.

As soon as you mentioned Pete in '90 you got me dreaming about ST releasing his famous shirt!!!!

If your hat was in nice shape, I'd make you an offer. I look for one almost several times a week on ****. Wish I had it. That was my favorite Agassi kit. Had the entire package (shorts, shirt that match the black/teal pair of shoes, and I wish I got the hat.

hat is still in good shape, but I’m not parting with it.

yeah, so? I can look past that. The shoe looks incredible and if it feels like an oscillate then...bonus!
I'm gonna have the copy of vintage tennis shoes that look the same as much as possible. I don't like real Oscillate, just not my kind of design, so i don't like modern copy of it. Pete was great player, but most of his career was during awful designs of tennis apparel and shoes. Just my opinion.

Same here, never liked the look of the Oscillante. Way too boring for my taste.

@Challenge Court, how do you find the fit of the Tech Challenge 20? Length fit, specifically. Not sure what your typical shoe is, but compared to, say, Cage 3, Vapor X, or ATC retros. Thanks!

Mine came today

True to size, not as tight as the Cage 3s. Easier to get on and off. Comfortable like Vapors, but older Vapors.

Easy to stay on the balls of your feet in these, but not as pronounced as the Zoom Zeros.

they are heavier, but not clunky...again like the Zoom Zeros.

only played in them for about an hour...before it started to rain.

If you guys haven't seen, head over to Niketalk. I posted pics of the USOpen gear. Total Agassi overload! Challenge Court EVERYTHING!!!

Go to the last 3 pages. Have fun with what you see. It's unbelievable!!!

This is great news. I think for the first time in my life I will buy some nike apparel for myself!

So guys, just double checking if I am between 2 sizes I should go small? These are slightly longer than the Vapor X?

I bit the bullet and bought them in 9.5 (unfortunately, not from TW... sorry) because they were out of stock on size 10. I'm sure since I did this, 9.5 will be too small, but we'll see.

Yes, I saw on niketalk; thanks for everything!
Any news on shoes?
Will some historical shoes also return?
Thanks!!

Got mine yesterday. Luckily, 9.5 fits me perfectly. Unfortunately, I just can’t get over the yellowish tint of the upper. Thought it might look better in person, but no. Felt pretty good. Would require some break in. Nice cushion in the heal. I feel there could have been one or two more lace holes, to really secure the fit.

Played in them today. A little on the heavy side and the extended soul on the outside of the ball of the foot is a little clunky for lateral movement...at least it was with mine.

I’ll second the extra lace hole or two to really secure the fit.

The new ones look to me like if the line never stopped and gradually changed as time went. That said a slightly less tech-ish look to this show with same tech would have me all in.

It would be nice if the nike repeats the Agassi 1995 shirts with the actual fabrics.
At the time, spring / summer had an exceptional fabric (I still use them!).
fall / Winter had big washing problems!

Ehh, I wouldn’t made them do a modern version with the same design but current Dri-Fit ala FA20.

Honestly the more I look at these, the more they're growing on me, and the more I can see the visual/design connection to the original. The weight worries me a little bit but these just might be worth a try...

I had the purple and blue version way back when. I liked them so much I wore them everywhere and ruined them playing basketball outside on hard concrete courts.

The OGs were fairly heavy too. So maybe thats another call-back

Does anyone know how far the upper comes up compared to the Vapor X? I like the low upper of the Vapor, but also want a pair of these!

Just got them in today. The sole is thick and you don’t feel that connected to the ground. They are kind of clunky feeling. They look great though and definitely good enough to wear for practice. Here they are next to my vapor 9.5 tours.

Thanks for the review. Clunky feeling is not a good one, especially on a tennis shoe. Maybe it's okay on basketball shoes, cause most of them tend to feel like that. For tennis, I need to be low to the ground as it makes me feel quicker this way.
