I remember....it was brought up as a joke....no drama no toilet breaks....or something to that effect so obviously he has to comment on it and he cannot criticize someone for something he does himself. But, yes, Novak has for assuming the reporter, with the toilet break question, took a swing at Stephanos when interviewing Novak. For that, Djoker was gracious and intelligent unlike this inadvertently confrontational reporter.

Post match speeches are getting boring and journalists dull. The reporter in case who gave Novak the toilet break question was clearly unprepared for the interview as well as dumb. He appeared to have little idea what to ask and when he came up with that question, the reporter was unaware that Novak did take a bathroom break after one of the sets with Zverev. Novak was quick to correct the incompetent reporter that he did take a toilet break during the match while the man with mic blushed. Trully embarrassing moment for the media outlet for even asking the question. There's so much those people could ask after the match but clueless they are. I'd say that every interviewer should understand tennis if not play it at least so that the questions would make more sense and be on the topic of the match that had just been played. I hate to say that but I am beginning to think that Osaka was onto something with her attacks on the media.

He absolutely did do something of the sort. He went on and on about how great of a person Zev is both on and off the court. Innocent until proven guilty is a legal standard (and a commonly misunderstood one at that), not a factual one. Many people who have in fact committed a crime have not been found guilty in a court of law. That doesn't mean they didn't commit the crime. Or are you saying that courts determine reality and can actually change reality?

My bad. I should've known Patrick and looked closer who he was but I missed it. I shouldn't've assumed/put notion forward the guy did not understand tennis based on his dull questions. I am just frustrated with the interviewers post match questions that lack connections to the big moments of the matches. There were some huge moments in Novak vs Sasha match that the guy (Patrick) with mic completely missed (asking about). Shouldn't inquiring about the winners' feelings/perspectives about the crucial matches moments be the part of postmatches interviers questions? Most of reporters often miss on significant periods of pro players matches so much and so we, the ones who want to learn, fail to see what to get out of the greatest players brief periods on their baselines or inside their court battles. So sad when the great Patrick McEnroe has little clue on what to ask one of the greatest tennis players of all times (choosing toilet breaks instead).

I believe that part of the reason the toilet breaks are longer with Tsitsipas is not the Tsitsipee or the Tsitsipoop. Any of us who have watched him knows that he sweats so much he literally looks like he has been thrown into a pool. Have any of you ever tried to change clothes when you are that wet? First of all it’s not easy to shed that kit, towel off to get dry enough and then get another kit on that’s sticking to you. I know this because I run and play tennis (at a low level) in summer in oklahoma and sweat a whole lot. Frequently go to get something to eat with friends after tennis and I struggle with this. I have been somewhat down on Tsitsi over this and I do think much of it is gamesmanship but I’m not on the side of those who insist he is cheating. Sascha of all people should know the power of people’s words and unfounded allegations that have not been proven.

I can get out of a wet suit in less than 2mins with sands all over my hands and feet. The greek is a grown up boy, i am sure he can manage to take off his shirt without the help of toilet paper.

Novak took two famous toilet breaks in french open. one against museti and one against tipsy. Both after losing first two sets and after break came out playing perfect tennis.

He also took breaks in olympics, other matches after 2 sets.

Yeah he stated "no histrinics..no toilet breaks". Then novak corrected one toilet break. Then he responsed. 1 min and 30 second

Where did I say courts determine reality? All Novak did was speak to his experience of the guy who seems to be a friend.

Novak showed that he is real players leader in a way he really doesn't care about PR s.h.i.t and he sais what ever he thinks...
