Personally I do think some of the architecture of the grand temples and the intricate design of the pagodas are equally admirable though. Building a Taj required more economic power which the Mughals, leading a country which was contributing to over 16% of the world's GDP had access to. Bringing in artisans from Persia brought in a fascinating mix of styles.

I was in Kanchi this weekend visiting a few of the hundred odd temples here. The architecture back from the 7th and 8th centuries are simply magnificent. The size....the sheer size!

If Kapil Mishra is making the accusations, then it's hard to believe, considering what he has been doing and has caused.

But we do have an idea who has started all the violence and killing. And kept the forces from stopping this, which has led to over 30 people dying. I think it was all planned. This is not incompetence but the success of the guv in their plan to get the majority against one community.
Maybe they want a repeat of 1984 (massacre of another minority community). Sooner or later that will happen.
