I'm using the Speed MP 360+, too, right now as my primary with Head Hawk Touch and I am just ripping it. Added about 4g at 3 and 9.
My other "primaries" (LOL) are the Technifibre TFight 315 and VCore 98.
If it works for you, that's great. People seem to equate the Clash's flex with it being the cure-all for elbow and wrist issues. Balance, grip and mechanics I'd say have as much to add to the equation. My wife, for instance, has been using the Clash 100 and she's developed wrist and elbow pain. We went to a trusted pro shop owner with over 30 years experience, and they said the Clash's flex could, too, strain wrists and arms by being too flexy. Have to find the right racket balance, weight and string setup.
At my club we have probably had a 60/40 split of players with arm issues purchasing either the Clash 100 or the 2020 Yonex Ezone 100. In both cases the players have been happy and no further issues.Let me guess, that pro shop owner then tried to sell you a different racquet...
I really dont get that "Ezone 100 is soft for the arm" I have the DR 100 and my eblow doesnt like it at all, even in full gut, low tension.(I don't believe the "new technology" on the 2020 version changes anything, the DR is already filled in the handle)At my club we have probably had a 60/40 split of players with arm issues purchasing either the Clash 100 or the 2020 Yonex Ezone 100. I am not sure where I said "Ezone 100 is soft for the arm". Sometimes its about the balance. Also, when you have players coming from the Pure Drive or Ultra the Ezone 100 is going to feel "softer".I really dont get that "Ezone 100 is soft for the arm" I have the DR 100 and my eblow doesnt like it at all, even in full gut, low tension.(I don't believe the "new technology" on the 2020 version changes anything, the DR is already filled in the handle)
Clash 100 works. Touch shots are still harder to pull off after 2 months though... Really wish I could play with an higher tension frame

Can’t read that. Looking at it gives me a headache.lololol m8, nothing to do with pd n all abt how u hit the ball m8. for yrs i bought >dozen of them from ppl who thought the rkt to blame for their te/ge etc, lololololol m8. i love them n still using 1/2 dozen of them. if u'r arming the ball instead of using legs/body, te/ge gonna entertaining u no matter what u use...........................

Well, are you still using the Clash, if so which model?i'm demo'ing the Clash and used the DR98 for a long time. Will try provide input when I have time to get some time in with the Clash. Lately, only had time to play once/week at most.
anyone know what the launch angle is for the clash racquets?
to me it seems more flat but could be wrong here
I thought I had a good catapult feeling with the Clash on serve. But yeah for sure try some weight, I always thought that the Clash swung nicely as well with weight added at 12.Finding that I’m not getting much pop or heaviness on my serves with the Clash 100. Added 4g of lead to the hoop at 12 and hopefully I’ll get some more power on serve. If not I’ll keep adding. Anyone else have this issue? I love the frame for everything else.

I think it’s plenty stable especially for the weight and balance. I’ll hit tomorrow and see if the lead helps but I’m guessing it will need more. I don’t want too much static weight and I like a more HL balance so hopefully this 4g will be enough.I found the Clash 100 lacked plow through and stability in general, though it seems that's a minority opinion. When I demoed them, I thought the Clash Tour provided much more stability on groundstrokes and pop on the serve. It's the racquet I use 80% of the time (with weight added at 3, 9, 12, and the handle)

Yea I use an over grip and another whole over grip to build up my butt so that about 10g in the handle already. Currently at 6pts HL with the lead. I’d like to be around 8.I'm the same. I like the stock balance of the Clash Tour so I used the TWU tool to help me add weight to the hoop without affecting the balance, which is why I also ended up with lead tape and tungsten putty in the handle.

I switched to the Clash 100 because of a bad case of GE. I've tried several strings and hybrid combos but I settled on Luxilon Smart @ 48 lbs. I've been increasing my playing time and I'm up to 3 to 4 times a week with no pain. However, a week ago I started feeling pain in my shoulder/elbow. I restrung over the weekend and played Sunday pain free. When I cut out the Luxilon Smart I did see some deep notching. I am now worried about going more than 2 weeks without restringing. This becomes an expensive proposition with Luxilon Smart. Can anyone recommend an alternative? I have tried natural gut (VS Touch) and, while I can play with it, I struggle with control. Maybe a good hybrid of nat gut/poly or SG? Recommended tensions? I'm a male 4.0.
I use a full bed of Hyper G 18g strung at 48lbs. I get good feel with that.I've been using the Clash 100S for 3 months now and still struggling to get enough 'feel' with this racket. The only modification I made was to add a leather grip (I also use overgrips). It changed to weight to 310g, so practically close to a Pro.
I feel the bevels more with the leather grip but has not changed the feel (or the lack thereof) much. I've tried Yonex Polytour Fire, Yonex Polytour Rev, Dunlop Explosive Bite, Gosen AK Pro CK. Tensions were 45lb for polys and 50lb for the Gosen syn gut.
I particularly lack the feel on slices, drop shots and volleys compared to my Prince Textreme Tour 100P or TT95. Any suggestion for the best "feeling" strings for the Clash?
so Im not the only one with this problem! I abandoned the racket for now however it is staying in my bag. I tried several hybrids in it and the pocketing was good, feel also. But the racket is definitely not stable enough on volleys, returns, on heavy hits it gets pushed away. Another issue is it is eating strings like crazy. The hybrids don't last longer than 4 weeks, it starts dropping and dropping to the point where its unplayable and I'm cutting it out with anger lolSmart ruined my wrist.
Stay away.
Expect November 2021, in another thread there’s a picture from Wilson saying November 2021 is clash v2’s release date. I think this thread was for the reverse cosmetic.Harry from Tennis Spin reckons the Clash 2.0 has been pushed back to around Christmas maybe January 2022.

It lacks control too. Despite all this I will restring it once more one day and this time with full bed of stiff control orientated poly at 50 and see how that plays.
Anyone tried Prince premier control in these rackets, if so how did it go?
just a paint job.Hey guys, sorry you're experience pain. Is Clash 100 different from Reverse version or just colour? This racquet lacks a lot but I enjoy playing with it with full natural gut strung to give me power not control. Do you think it's a terrible choice?

there is a custom option. That’s what I went for.Thank you, it's too black in reverse for a female like me :/ (I don't like the paint job on Clash
Do you know if it's available in Eastern Europe too?there is a custom option. That’s what I went for.
If you go to the Wilson website all the info will be there. Good luck. They don’t do it for the 98 though.Do you know if it's available in Eastern Europe too?
I think the regular clash with some lead is the better frame. But obvi not everyone would say that.... these things are personal. If you don’t like customizing though, yeah, the tour might be better for you. The tour just doesn’t have a lot of room to customize unless you turn it into something that it isn’t supposed to be.Sorry to double post. My friend whom never saw me play recommended me tour version because of the balance. Would you agree? What's your take?
I agree. My clash was/is ( sits in the bag now) the reg 100 version and it weights in at 339g incl, overgrip, dampener, strings. Its perfect to play around and is the super option for the tired elbow.I think the regular clash with some lead is the better frame. Is that with lead? 340 sounds like a pro with overgrip, dampener, and maybe 2 or 3 grams at 12. Sounds like a nice set up.What should they be?
My pros (tours) are at 340g with a balance of 32.2cm, they feel great.
It’s all what you like, setups are personal. But 350g clashes have to be about 2% of the setups out there. Absolutely nothing wrong with being unique... but the person asking about which frame to get is not likely to be dialed into that. I’d certainly be looking at a blade pro if you’re getting into 350g territory. But that’s me.My Clash 98s are now up over 350g and totally feel like the racquets they were supposed to be.

At 350 grams you could get a blade pro 10pts HL. With about two tons more butter. But if you’re into it, play it man. I’d be sticking balls through the fence with that set up as I hit with heavy spin.Nah, Blades are like swining a club. My Clashes are 10pts head light, strung.
