Opinions On These Midplus(18mX20c) Racquets

I currently use the Fischer M Speed Pro 1-98 racquet but think I might want to switch back to a denser(18x20) pattern stick. I used the Dunlop MW 200G-95 in the past. I have a pretty tender elbow and need a flexy stick....like the Fischer but with a denser string pattern and still a midplus(95-100sq in) head size. Im thinking about the following sticks:

Head YOUTEK Prestige MP
Head Microgel Prestige MP
Volkl Power Bridge 10 MP
Dunlop 4D 200-95(18x20)

Can anyone tell me whats the flexiest/most comfortable of those 4 sticks??

Oh and before anyone suggest it, Im not interested in the Becker 11 MP. The balance is not headlight enough for me(only 5 pts HL). Im also not interested in any Pro Kennex racquets. Also not interested in the Prince Rebel 95.....just too heavy!

So any thoughts, especially regarding the flex, of the 4 sticks I listed would be greatly appreciated!

well of course the PB10MP is #1 :)
all 4 are pretty good choices, so why not try all 4 (it is a rather short demo list).
I'm kinda wary of giving u advice cuz i didnt find the rebel heavy. I'm thinking u may like the dunlop since you've used one before but the 4d200 may be heavy for you, perhaps a 300tour would be better for you. btw all 4 are considered comfortable by most ppl. You should really demo as many stix as possible esp with your elbow and be careful of tight string patterns strung high cuz could feel very firm and stiff.

You could also try the Wilson K Blade 98. It has the 18x20 pattern, is a flexy frame, and has always been nice on my elbow and shoulder.

Mike - how much power do you want? the 2 Head are lower in power than the Dunlop. haven't tried the Volkl. the Kblade is nice but a bit stiffer (on the elbow).

Bad Call- Well my current Fischer stick is pretty low powered, which I like. I just think Id like to go back to a denser pattern. Which of the two Head sticks to you think is softer/flexier? Are they both flexier than the Dunlop?

Microgel is flexier then the youtek to me. The Dunlop is extremely solid, but still low powered. The Volkl probably has the most flex. These are all great racquets and you should really try and demo them.

Mike - if u want flex then the Rad MP is more so than the Prestige MP. if you want a bit more static weight then try the Dunlop. you can check the TW published specs for more info.

Yeah, 4 is perfect. For 20 bucks flat you can demo all of them from TW for a week (assuming they have all of them available). Demoing is the best thing you can do for yourself. I haven't hit with the Vokyl, but considering you're coming from a pretty flexible frame, I'd suspect you'd like the Dunlop or the Microgel the best. I like the YouTek feel but I think a lot of people find it too stiff. I preferred the Pro over the MP (obviously), but not because of the string pattern. Have you thought about trying to add lead to the handle of the BB11? With your elbow issues I'd suggest you focus on getting something with a flex that works for you and consider adding lead or silicone in the handle to get the balance you like. I always end up adding weight to the handle of my frames and it's very easy to do. Good luck.

Another one you may want to add to your demo list is the Becker Delta Core Legend. Very flexy and comfortable 18x20 stick. It's almost the opposite of the PB10 MP which is a little on the stiff side.

I would recommend you to try the Pro Kennex Black Ace 98 as well.

A very nice soft comfortable frame with an exceptional touch and feel.

Maybe only a bit light in stock condition but you can fix that with a little lead. ;)
