Opinions on Yonex Vcore 95 red?

I can't comment on the V7 16x19 - never hit with it.
I initially trialed the VC 95 only because during the COVID shelter-in-place I went through tennis withdrawal, which led to shopping and impulse buying. I intended it to be an experiment, but I pretty quickly stopped using the Blade at the courts.
Ah I thought you were using the Blade. Might not even demo to avoid the hassle then.

@Kurt0707 sounds like I would need to demo to find out but from your experience sounds like I won't be getting much more power but maybe a bit more forgiveness.
So maybe not worth the hassle given Wilson's QC and the fact that the VC95 is already comfortable which is my main concern.
Thanks.

Frankly having tried so many racquets in past 18 months, the only brand that I found comfortable and powerful are Angells but you cant demo these.. Nothing beats the comfort, feel and playability of Vc95 for me so far, and power and stability is something that can be achived by strings and weight on hoop. I have seen that few Vc95 users have switched to Gravity line, which I havent tried, and dont prefer 100sqinch sizes. With Wilson its a gamble for sure..

Just looking for input on this racquet. Haven't hit with it but the specs look great.

Most importantly, wondering what the feel is like, is it solid or hollow feeling? Also looks pretty soft at 62. Does this check out or is it stiffer? I def prefer a softer frame and everything seems like 65+ nowadays. I hated to Ezone and found it to feel stiff, plasticky and hollow. Hoping this frame is not like that.

Thanks a lot for any input.

@TW Staff feel free to give your opinion too.
I like this racquet the most out of the red V Core’s and one of Yonex’s best feeling frames. It’s fast feel reminds me of a lighter version of the Volkl PB 10 Mid.

I demoed the SV95 and didnt like it because there was obvious instability in the hoop. I take it the red VC95 is just the same? The specs of this racquet look great to me, and theres very few choices in 95 headsizes now.....

I haven't tried the SV95 but I think VC95 will be slightly more stable in stock, but both have a low twist weight/plow in stock, so need some lead depending one what you like.... Other 95 I enjoy is Angell TC95 (slightly firmer and 18x20) gives me more power and control (especially on serves its a beast), but still in a comfortable package, and exists in 16x19 or 18x20 forms, and I also have read that Dunlop CX200 are pretty good and can now be bought for cheap.. I had an old Technifiber Ltd 18x20 and I think they would be very similar, also with the similar beam width and played really well (string choice is important here).. I would have Dunlops if I wasn't happy with the Angell (and Angell boss is x-lead designer of Dunlop).

reviving this, hopefully ppl still using this, i got 2 of these used based on reviews. 1 stock and the other custom. Looking for advice if others had similar issues and fixed it or moved to other frames. The stock one is the one I used most with the Hyper G17 at 53lbs. It's a spin monster, more comfy than the EZT and easier than PT57E Head I have. My issue is I just can't flatter out especially my approach shot. I had the aeropro drive and I am finding this racquet just as powerful and spinny. From baseline, I am 4.5, 5'6 and played against a 6'4 5.0 friend and he had trouble hitting against my topspin and he also said this was the best racquet i hit with compared to the EZT and PT57E, but I just can't flatten to drive and end the point quickly. Every thing has a loop with balls landing near baseline or a bit out. :( Basically keep losing due to unforced error on short approach as my friend likes to slice. I can hit topspin and good control with the PT57e Head Prestige MP but it's just tiring with the weight as as weekend warrior. Should I add weight silicone or tighten string tension? I am reluctant as it will be like my heavier racquets and same weight issue. Reading earlier comments, I see ppl stringing in low 40's, I also tried this tension on the EZT and I can't keep balls in but EZT has a much flatter trajectory to me than the VCore 95 and not as easy to hit with. I usually hit mid 50's poly, and feel it's powerful plenty after a few hours. Don't feel confident that I can keep ball in play backline unless I keep spinning because of it's so powerful. I find this one of the spinniest racquet I have played with including aeropro drive which I had similar issue with too spinny. I am open to other racquets, but this is also one of the most comfy racquet I have tried so looking for advice to tame this beast.

Adding a few grams on 3&9 sould probably help, flatting requires some plow, mine I have 4 grams and no issue with flatting out, and I play more old school flat than top-spin..
