Hey Everyone,
I'm John. I feel compelled to post this since I've battled with the correct grip size and feel of my racquet handles for years. I'm no doubt a 4 3/8 grip size, but obviously different racquet brand grip shapes and replacement grips can make the grips feel different. So my current set-up is a Babolat Pure Aero VS Tour in 4 3/8. I removed the syntec pro replacement grip and replaced it with a skin feel replacement grip and then added a vs original over grip. So when I did this it felt great, but something wasn't quite right. I finally figured it out. Since I was trying to minimize the width of the replacement grip and over grip, I would try to pull them very tight, almost as tight as possible. This made the grip feel slightly thinner, but extremely harsh/thin. Therefore, I got new skin feel replacement grips and vs original over grips and wrapped with the same size overlap, but wrapped much softer, without pulling too tight. It feels amazing now! I just felt like maybe my experience might help others. Keep swinging away! -John
