Overgrip not staying put

I have a TW leather grip on my racquets, with a tacky overgrip on top of that. This has worked great for the past 3 years, but lately the overgrip won't stay put. After just an hour of play, my grip looks like this:

Sometimes it'll open up near the butt as well, so I get openings under both hands when hitting my 2HBH.

I usually play with Yonex Supergrap, and the problem started happening. So, I tried Tourna Tac and now Volkl Super Grip II, but the problem seems even worse with them.

Any idea what's going on and how to fix it? My theory is that the leather grip used to be a bit tacky, but that has worn off over time. So now there is nothing holding the grip in place. I've tried wrapping the overgrip tighter and tighter, but it hasn't helped. Should I spray something on the leather grip to make it more tacky?

Thanks for any advice.

Clean the leather at least annually. The OGs are not moisture proof, which means the leather gets damp. Just use warm water and a drop of dish soap. Let dry before putting on the OG.

Thanks all. I guess the leather grip was just dried out. I oiled it and let it sit overnight, and the overgrip seems to be staying in place now.
