Overgrips for dry hands?

To add a bit of background to this, I'm in a position where I enjoy and even need overgrips over my leather grips. However, considering I have really dry hands, I'm unable to make tacky overgrips actually tacky with my sweat; and obviously, dry overgrips are a no-go. So feel free to suggest options, most likely overgrips that don't absorb sweat very well while remaining tacky perhaps? I've had somewhat a bit of luck with Pro's Pro Ichiban, could be slightly tackier.

Gamma Supreme, Wilson Pro, Volkl Super Grip II, Volkl Super Perf ... all the grips that don't work for my sweaty hands.

I also have dry hands (usually I'm the only guy on court without any sweat on my palm shaking everyone else's sweaty hands at the end of a match), and I personally enjoy Wilson Pro and Yonex Supergrap. I actually like it most when tacky overgrips start to lose some of their tack but before they go completely slippery from too much dirt accumulation.

Thanks for the answers.

Sooo, pretty much any of them? What is the question?
The question is in the title. I have hands so dry that most tacky overgrips can't be actually tacky due to the lack of humidity. I found out that even for tacky overgrips, you need to sweat a little to make them work. Just not as much as Roddick obviously...

First of all DRY grips actually get Tackier with sweat, whereas Tacky grips get slippery with sweat. That's square 1. If your hands are sweating and its a problem, go buy some Tourna Grip and you'll be happy. If your hands don't sweat or you play in a cold environment, then go get a nice super tacky grip and you'll have no issues, there's a million to choose from.

These are the basics, but as I've pointed out, it's not actually that straightforward. It's a decent rule of thumb that doesn't exclude "what if" situations like mine. I do have (and did try) tacky and dry overgrips thank you very much, but I feel that I need to go a step further and it's the reason I've started this thread.

The tacky grips I've used, which are limited to Tourna Mega Tac, Tourna Tac, and a few Volkl tacky grips, none of them need sweat to activate. They are tacky right out of the package in the driest of conditions. If you need sweat to activate a tacky grip, then its probably not a good grip. Based on your selections, you need to go with more quality grip.

I've tried a bunch. I presonally prefer supergrap, but Tourna Megatac is hands down the tackiest, and the one which remains tacky the longest.

My hands don't seem to sweat at all. I really like Gamma Supreme out of the box but it doesn't seem to keep it's tack as long as Wilson Pro, which in my opinion has less tack out of the box but feels the same for a longer time, which makes it my preferred overgrip.

Hows about some hand lotion?

I see nothing wrong even with Wilson Bowl overgrips. They are fairly tacky and need not sweat. I also have some good experience with Signum Pro Tour Pro overgrips. I think they work in any situation (both dry and sweaty), they're not tacky at all either sweaty or not, but more graphite based. Although they don't last very long (but they're not expensive either).

This is absolutely correct. Extremely tacky. The tackiest of anything I've ever felt.
Give the Megatac a try and see if that doesn't help the issue.

I recently got myself some Wilson Advantage overgrips. The feel is in between dry and tacky overgrips straight out of the box, so it looks quite promising (for my preference that I stated above about having dry hands and liking partially worn tacky grips, it feels quite similar to touch) but I haven't taken it out for actual testing. Will see how it goes.

Mantis Performa Tac! I've tried many "tacky" overgrips that are not so tacky...This one is really good. I have pretty dry hands. Easily the best I've tried. It's cheap, long lasting and thin (0,5 mm).

Is tacky, but not overly tacky the direction you're headed in? Dunlop Viper Dry white is on the tacky side and has a very nice feel to it. It is heavier though, but not overly thick. The black version is very tacky and doesn't have as nice a feel.

Other very tacky ones are Gamma Supreme and RZR React. The Supreme is on the thin side and the React is a little thinner still.

I also have dry hands, so I suggest you to try Tecnifibre ATP Pro Contact ... a few years ago Pacific X Tack Pro was my favourite, but once I started using TF ... there is no turning back ...

Solinco Wonder Grip is my go to overgrip. It's very tacky, thin and durable. Kirschbaum Touch It in white is also very similar.

I love Pacific X Tac Pro Dry, but maybe you won't like it. My second tier being Tournagrip (I think the original deep purple one) and a Gamma while the third tier is Yonex Supergrab.

I'm pretty sure I know what you are talking about. I get super dry hands especially when it's cold and my usually favorite grip (Solinco Wonder grip) even does not do the trick. So, what I did is bought a Gorilla Towel. I keep it in my bag just in case. it works better than anything I ever tried. It also will last a long time too.

Just going to update my experience with Wilson Advantage after a few weeks: it works very well for me, with my palms that stay dry even when I'm sweating buckets. The amount of grip is just right, and it wears much better than Wilson Pro and Yonex Supergrap. The feel is just right, not too tacky, not too dry, and it doesn't change too much even after a few uses (my previous OGs of choice, Pro and Supergrap, would have felt completely different after a few hitting sessions and started to peel).

Hope this helps, @Lukhas

How thick is it?

Update: after re-reading the suggestions and checking what was available to me, I've ordered two 3 OG packs of Solinco Wonder Grip and Yonex Super Grap, both in white.
