Either they are not printing it on the frame but it looks like they did away with the Magentic Tech at 3 and 9 o'clock. If it has similar specs to a M Pro 98" I'm in for one.

they are keeping the fischer brand?..

The Rackets will be co-branded with the Pacific name and Fischer logo.

PACIFIC Entermark GmbH in cooperation with the Parent Company of Fischer Sports GmbH, have collaborated in a positive way to insure that the new direction of Fischer Tennis Racquets will now be under the PACIFIC Brand name, and will retain the worldwide respected R&D developmental know-how and cutting-edge technologies associated with the Fischer Tennis name

From the picture, it seems the other way around. Pacific logo (no name) and Fischer name on the bridge (no triple triangles).

Thanks for posting. Looks nice. Do you think it's photoshopped?

thanks on the info. probably a transitional thing in order to gently wipe the fischer name...

or maybe they are suposed to keep it this way forever.... why not?

many brands do that... Sony-Ericsson comes to mind... (no pun intended)

Looks really nice. As much as I like the TriForce, err. . . I mean the Fischer logo, I like the look of a big X in the middle of the strings.

Me likey!! I'm with Alfa in hoping they keep the pallet system. Also hoping they stick with the less round/more Dunlop+Wilson-style grip.

Thanks ericsson! It's great to see some news on these racquets. The paintjob looks like a HUGE improvement from what I can see.

I'm really looking forward to these frames. My M-Comps are holding up well, but I'd like to know there will be replacements in the future.

Plus, I'm really digging the colors. Hopefully they haven't changed much and will continue w/ the 'No Tolerance' series. Of all the gimmicks companies try to push on us (Fischer included), this is the one thing that is tangible.

When I first picked up my M-Comps, I weighed them all (6 of them), unstrung, on a postal scale. They all came in at 11.64, which is what they printed on the racket. Very impressive.

From what I understand, the new Pacific racquets will retain the current pallet system which employs screws. Possible future or delivered options would include pallets to match other manufacturers so you can pick your own style. Another possible future option would be weighted screws which would enable a user to add weight simply by replacing one of the two (or both) pallet screws.

The racquets would be delivered to the pro shop without any grip installed. Upon purchase, the buyer would instruct the pro shop which pallet style, size, and what kind of grip to install.

Pretty cool forward thinking stuff. I plan on demoing one and love the new look.

@ rabbit
I actually found some metal screws at the hardware store that fit in the pallet. After installation I felt that the racquet was just too headlight with the metal screws and it wasn't producing the depth that I wanted.

I just bought a Pacific bag right before I saw this and I am getting excited about the new line also. As long as they can come up with a similar stick to the M Pro No. 1 98s then I am all set!

Seems a lot of people have been hitting the 2010 releases already (BLX, Volkl, YT Prestige). Is anyone getting a sneak preview with the new Pacific line?

I don't think so, there is barely a pic of it, they keep it very closed...

personally I can't wait for the racquet made out of the surface of the moon. graviterioum they call it.

No, the moon is made out of cheese.

Thus we need a cheese racket.

But seriously, I am excited to see the new line up.

I for one hope they try and compete head to head with the big sellers on specs (Babolat PD, APDC, Volkl PB8, Dunlop 4D 500T, Technifibre Speedflex, etc... All have the nearly the same specs but play very differently).

His stick looks like the original M Pro 1 mold. I thought technifibre bought that mold from Fischer, so I'm not sure how Pacific can use it.

Does anyone know when these frames will be out for Europe and the US?

I thought I read previously on their website that they would be out in January but now it says March :(
