Polystar Energy. What tension?

I got two sets of Polystar Energy and I want to string my N90 with it. I usually have my strings @ 58 lbs. What can you guys recommend for this string?

What about the durability?

That would depend on what the usual strings are? tension maintinance is not the best but its a very nice string.

Oh seen your sig, I would probably keep it similar to the hurricane. or up a lb

I've been wanting to try out the Polystar. How is the power level?

BTW, Ljub, I'm stringing up your old setup from last year: X1 mains and cyberflash crosses in my storm tour. I've been wanting to try it out and can't wait to give it a go tomorrow.

it's probably one of the most springy polys out there. i string it at same tension as a multi (60 lbs in my frame) and it does OK. any looser and is just gets like a trampoline really fast. it's not the best tension holding string but it is lively and the feel is OK.

String it tighter than Hurricane- try 60 lbs. I think it's the most powerful poly on the market.

Yeah the energy is VERY powerful, much more power than cyber power.

LOL I just noticed in another thread, you have tried the X1/Flash set up. great combo.

I strung up my n90 with it tonight and played with it as well. When stringing, it felt really greasy! Is that normal? I liked the feel while playing, pretty powerful.. I probably need to give it 59 or 60 lbs next time.

it does feel like there is a coating to it. more slippery than greasy. but i know what you mean. only poly i've come across so far with that feeling to it.

Yes that's very normal, the strings are very greasy, it's a nice string and yes quite powerful so string a little higher, one thing i dont like about PS is making a starting knot, the string is very tough.
