polystar energy!

i have to admit; i love polystar energy

it's one of the softest poly's out there with unparallel powerl.

i had it strung with my m-fil 300 and given the open string pattern it has, the racquets did not move, notch or do anything - no signs of breakage.

it's one of the best strings i have ever used - along with topspin cyber flash - but does anyone know where i can get a reel of it?

i wonder what a hybrid of cyber flash and polystar energy, would feel like.....

=)

oh yeah

anybody tried with this fischer m pro speed one?

given a lot of ppl complain about the low power the racquet has, install some polystar energy!

sure, polystar energy is powerful but it's tension maintenance is crap. poly polar is a much better string at a cheaper price.

really? i've never tried it.

has anybody ever tried putting logos using ink, on say darker colour strings such as cyberflash, poly polar, alu power etc?

does it come up well? dp you need to use the red one?

im asking cause my sponsor has contracted me to spray paint the logos on my strings. thanks

i currently use polystar energy too and i like it, has all the things i like in a string, ok tension is lost quite quickly but that can be said of all poly's, especially Alu power, thats the reason i dont play alu no more. anyone had expierence with the 1.30mm or the 1.20mm? is there a lot of difference?, i use the 1.25mm version.

That is debatable.

I think there is no debat on it : polystar energy is the most powerfull poly on the market, however he also has many inconvenients (loss of tension, approximative control).

Is Polystar energy better than alu power and pro hurricane??

thats a very debatable question, what is better? is gut the best string? for some it is for some it aint...

one thing is sure, it's not a bad string, infact it's a good string, add the price and you have a great string, it's cheap too.

better in what ? power : surely, control : no, tension stability : no, comfort : yes.

all depends on your own priority : if you consider that your string must absolutely have a good tension stability and as much control as possible : energy is not better. if you consider that your string must be powerfull and comfortable : energy is better.

When I play tested Polystar Energy (1.20mm version), I thought it was great the first two hours. The initial power and response was impressive but as the tension dropped the repsonse off the stringbed wasn't nearly as crisp or predictable.

I want a poly that is comfortable, provides a controlled response, and maintains tension for a resonable amount of time.

If I desired more power in a string, I wouldn't look at polys.

In defense of Polystar, I will try the larger diameters to see if I the tension maintenance is better.

It's a bit better on tension maintenance. The 1.25mm is ideal, the 1.30 has less feel.
