Seems like most people find this racket very comfortable, although these comments of discomfort do concern me.
I played with the DR 98 for years and even this racket would aggravate my TE at times.

Absolutely no sign of TE with the TT310 or TT100P - that's with HyperG full poly up to 55 lbs (which is too stiff, but no TE)

IMO comfort is very good for a 65RA frame.

I had a nasty bout of TE a while back, I managed to rehab it while still playing using an Angell K7 as my main racquet. Since then I've used both versions of the K7, the DR98, Prince Phantoms and ProKennex Q Tours, all renowned for being very arm-friendly rackets.

I haven't had any issues moving to the TT310.

DR98 has more comford for sure and more control oriented that means you can string 2-3pounds lower than TT310 and be even more comfortable, 55 Hyper is a killer man!

Very confused with string setup on my TT310 still... I'm on my first set of strings, with YPTS 1.20mm / synthgut hybrid, strung at 42/45lbs. Getting WAY less power than my Ultra Tour with a full bed of Hyper-G 1.15mm at 43lbs.

Just for clarity, I'm back around 47 lbs with HyperG now...55 was way too high for me. My point was that I don't get TE with this racket for whatever reason.

Tennis elbow arises from a combination of factors (racquet flex, string stiffness and tension, hitting technique, muscle and tendon imbalance, etc.).
I have found my Prince Textreme Tour 100 to be very comfortable possibly because the frame is firm but not over stiff and I consciously use a
comfortable multifilament at a comfortable tension (Technifibre NRG 16 @ 53 lbs.).

Also I don't hack at the ball like I'm killing snakes. Honestly I couldn't be more pleased. I don't need another frame but can I stop myself from getting one anyway?
Probably not based on past history.
Edit...I did get another one. This one is strung with Volkl Power Fiber II 16 @ at 53 pounds. I expect to love it.

In an other threat, there was a discussion on flexibility and comfort, and it was mentioned by many that comfort is not only a factor of flexbility, but more of weight, SW, TW and string and tension. I also play with much more stiff rackets than the above mentioned (with mid 50s RAs), which I dont find very stable, but if not strung right they feel more uncomfortable than more stuff rackets.. I play with low-mid 60s rsckets with a history or TE and sensitive arm, and have no issues with heavier weight 330-340gr SW (325-335) and NG/multi strings at mid tensions (at.leat in mains) or slightly higher, including TT100p. Not harsh at all and also plenty of power.
Has anyone tried weighting the TTs to 350-360 grams, but keeping the HL balance as is?
If so, how does that feel on the arm comfort?

Worse in what way?

I have both versions and prefer the O3 due to the slightly tighter string pattern (especially in the throat) and comfort. The differences aren't huge though, both great frames.

is it more powerful and less control as TW have suggested?

Is there any detailed review of the O3 version available on the net?
I am really interested to know if there are any significant differences between O3 and the classic TT310 (regarding groundrstokes, serves, volleys),
I wish I had more info about the pros and cons of each version (in terms of spin, control, stability, plow through, etc). Making a detailed comparison between them will be very helpful, before I decide to buy a pair of one of these two versions.

One issue is that the O3 version isn't available in the US so naturally there'll be less people using/talking about it.

I can tell you the differences highlighted above are minimal, but:

Spin - pretty even. Solid beam is a little more open, but the ports add a touch so overall it balances out
Control -no tangible difference here in my experience
Stability and plow - again, no real difference. Twistweight is about the same for both. Plow is generally a by-product of SW so assuming both versions are on spec there won't be much difference there either

The (slightly) more noticeable differences for me are:

String pattern - tighter on the O3 version (extra cross and 8 vs 6 in the throat), which is really just a personal preference having moved from 18x20 frames. A little less string movement and in theory strings should last a bit longer
Comfort - IMO ports do work here to add a little extra comfort, although the solid beam version is still good
Aesthetics - although the beam widths aren't very different, I notice it. Again, I'm used to thinner framed players racquets so this is just a personal preference, doesn't affect playability
Feel - as you'd expect this is the biggest difference. If you've ever used Prince ported frames you'll know what I mean. O3 is obviously a lot more muted. Takes some getting used to at first. I like the feel it offers, some people will probably hate it

2nd tournament with my TT290 O3. Confirmation than it's not powerful enough with these combos :
- Hybride Alu Power / Wilson NXT @20/22kg
- Signum Pro X-Perience 1,24mm @21kg

2 or 3 less kg would have been the right fit for me. So, compared to my Ultra 100, 2kg below what I used to require.

My gesture is quite poor. I never trained or took lessons, so my forehand is the legacy of my many years of table tennis. So I'm seeking power in my gear, because I can't improve my gesture a lot (I did some improvement this year, allowing me to reach my highest ranking, but it won't get too far). So I'm aware I'm playing with powerful combos, and that's only to fill the lacks of my technique.

Τhanks a lot for this analytical review and comparison.
So, after you tested both versions, O3 TT310 (16x19) and TT310 (16x18), it seems that you found no significant differences in terms of playablity. Are you giving to O3 TT310 almost the same scores as those have given by the TW testers for the classic TT310 (16x18)?

Well, I'm not a seasoned racquet tester but I would agree these frames have very few weaknesses. As I alluded to, the only real differences between the two versions are string pattern and feel.

The one thing I wanted a bit more of is plow and static weight as I moved from heavier frames (PK Q Tour 325s and the 320g 18x20 Phantom).

I've got 3g of lead split between 10/2 and a few more at 7" on the handle. With OG it comes in at 340g / 7HL / 326ish SW. It plays just fine stock but even better now. Might add 1g more at 12 to see how it plays at 330 SW.

I can easily switch between the solid and O3 versions, just a slight personal preference for the latter.

By the way, I was hyped by TW with the Signum Pro plasma, I will try it. And I ordered some tunstene band, maybe I'll try and put some at 3-9.

I just received my TT100 310 yesterday. I'm planning to string it up with a full bed of Velocity to start with. Maybe 56/55 lbs.?
ohh yeahhh.. get ready.. for some tt100 310 action!

and yes... 55lbs sounds good.. i wouldn't really go north of that... (that's me).

I thought one wasn't supposed to go over 50 lbs. tension with this racquet.

I played my best game today and beat the highest ranked player I ever played, with the X-perience. Finally, maybe 21kg is the right tension. I missed almost nothing except for volleys, which I have to practice a lot this season.
So the TT290 with X-perience 1,24mm will be my setup for this year.

Is your TT290 customized? What have you done to it?

No, not customized (just a Wilson overgrip because it's hot in Paris and it makes me sweat too much [emoji28]).
I'm still injured at the wrist, but it bothers me only with serves and smashes. The TT290 hurt way less than my Ultra 100 CV by the way. I played a lot this summer, and stopping competition will be necessary for some time.
For the first time since I began tennis, I will take courses. If I improve my technique, I will try to add some weight on the frame, maybe at 3-9 or 2-10, to have more power.
But for now, I don't feel the need to, and not good enough to handle more head weight.

Question for those who have been extensively playing with the Tour 100 310. To what extent is it prone to string breaking? I have no experience with 16x18 pattern but a couple of years ago I was a Prince precision 730 user (97 head size 14x18) and I was breaking strings all the time. At one point I was kinda fed up because I would somtimes break two strings in 3 or 4 hours (was not using poly at that time). What can I expect from a 16x18 100 sqin like the T100 310? How is it different from 16x19 100 sqin? I'm hesitating between Tour 100 310 and Tour100p. I have never been fan of 18x20 patterns but many people claim that the 100p plays like a 16x19. I was thinking that strung at low tension maybe with a hybrid it may play not too boardy and provide a good access to spin.
Any advice?
Unfortunately I have no possibility to demo these racquets where I live in Canada.
FYI I am currently hitting a Beast 100 ; I think it is a great racquet but maybe on the rocket launcher side.

Overall, I am really impressed by this racquet.

Pros:
-Comfort is very good. It doesn't have as much flex as my Phantom Pro 100Ps, but I didn't expect it to. It feels a bit firmer but not so much that it bothers my arm.
-Easy spin and power. With Velocity 16g, I really don't find myself craving more than what this frame provides. If it were more powerful, I'd probably wind up hitting a lot of balls long.
-I seem to serve a lot better with this than the PP100P.
-Stable enough for clean volleys/overheads.

Cons:
-Not as much feel as I would like.
-The thick beam leads to the occasional mishit on backhand slices and volleys, but that may just take a little more getting used to.

I got myself a pair of TT100 310 very recently, and have hit for about 3 hours with them. The TT310s are ~330 gms, 7 pts HL with overgrip and dampener. I measured SW with the TW Tool - roughly 330+ SW (I have no idea if I got it right).

A bit of background before I talk about my impressions. My current racquets are a pair of Head Graphene Instinct MPs, weighted to about 335 gms, 330 SW, 6 pts HL. I have pretty solid groundstrokes, flatter backhand than my forehand. Decent at the net most times, and I have a very spin-based serve - not too much pace, but I can move it around really well. I am not sure what my level of play would be rated at here, but I played Nationals in my country when I was younger (if that helps).

I string my Instincts with YTex Quadro Twist at 55-57lbs. The TT310s are strung with the same string at 53 lbs for now.

First impressions -
1. I feel like I can hit much smaller targets with the TT310. Aggressive tennis feels a lot easier to me, as a result of the this.
2. Not as much free power as my Instincts. I can feel the difference mostly only when defending deep or at full stretch.
3. I am serving marginally poorer (I think) with the TT310s. The kick serves aren't kicking as much, but I feel I can work that out over time. Pace seems slightly lower at times, mostly the same (hitting partner's perception)
4. My backhand is completely off at times, I can't figure out why. I am hoping time, drills and tinkering will solve this.
5. Volleys - nice and easy to absorb pace and put balls away as long as I am attacking. I've been struggling with defensive volleys so far. Again, time and drills!
6. Backhand slices have been nice and deep and sharp, mostly. I generally slice well, but I am not completely confident with this shot yet.
6. TT310 isn't as quick through the air as my Instincts, at almost similar specs. The TT310 became a real handful when I got tired.

I've now added a gram of lead tape under the trapdoor - let's see if this makes the racquet a little whippier. (Any suggestions in this regard are very welcome.)

Overall, I am generally very happy with the TT310 so far. Its slightly more difficult to play with than my weighted Instincts - to me, that just means I was getting lazier and I should start working on my conditioning more.

What do you seek in the Prince that your Instinct doesn't have? If you find the TT310 heavy, you could try the 290gr version.

Given that the static weight and balance of yours are more or less on spec, I'd be very surprised if the SW was that high. Unstrung spec is 285 so should be closer to 315-320. When I measured mine using the same method it came out right around 318, so I've added some lead to 10/2 to bump it up a bit.

Well, it's a different situation. One of my Instincts has cracked (they're both 6 years old) and I felt like trying something new. Hated the P17, this was the next on the list. It didn't help that I couldn't find a single L3 Graphene Instinct in my country.
As for what I'd want different, I had a tendency to overhit with my Instincts at times. So a bit of less free power, I think. That's about it.

The 290 gm sounds nice, but I'd have to find someone to sell these to first :)

I agree, I am very surprised it was that high. Pretty sure I got something wrong. But it swings pretty heavy too, a little heavier than my Instincts tbh

Hi BillKid,

It's not overwhelming, but my strings do tend to notch a little faster with the Textreme Tour 100 (310) than other comparable racquets with 16x19 string patterns. It depends on the string, but I have noticed slightly more string breakage from my end since switching to this racquet because there is a good amount of string movement. It's an awesome racquet nonetheless, love it! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, have a great day!

Sincerely,
Erik, TW Staff

I just strung
ZX 16 main / Gamma Glide cross
58/58
on my Prince TT100(310)

Strings slide back into place.
No notching yet.
No adjustments needed every point.

I think I like this better than Gut/Velocity

But , it feels like a trampoline, even at 58, if I hit it flat.
Almost feels like an aluminum racket or something.

I'm not liking the 100 sqinch head size and thick beam. Just different from what max is used to; hence, a PP 93 P is on order. Might sell the 310 to clear the decks. I need less power.

This probably should've been made without the "twaron" / kevlar and put it about 58 RA. . . I mean, it's a LARGE head size.

Interesting observation, Max. I've been playing with the Phantom Pro 100P for a while now and worried that the thicker beam and higher power would throw my game off. I'm not finding that to be the case, at least not yet. I'm able to control the ball well and I'm not sending any shots into the fence. The only time I do that is when I muscle the ball, and that's going to happen regardless of the racquet I'm using.

I played again with the TT310 tonight. The easy power and spin on serves was greatly appreciated. I also hit some devastating drop shots and volleys, although there isn't as much feel as I would like.

Well yeah, thinner beam, less power and a lower RA with no Twaron = Phantom

I have been using this frame for the past 3 months. Those who are a former pure drive or pure strike users but want something softer will like this frame. Not quite as much power or plow but much more comfortable. I fixed the plow and stability issue with 2 grams total at 2 and 10.

Having seen SW ranges 322-327 on different sites, I was surprised to see unstrung SW to be 285 when I received my racket. This would mean around +30-31 strung i.e 315-316 SW strung (assuming 285 is unstrung) and I have seen several comments on this forum who actually measured these. So how are these respectable sources measuring or quoting these SWs? I am missing something?

I generally play around 325-330 SW which means I would need to add 3-4 grams and I wonder if this would majorly effect the wonderful reviews I have also read or maybe its not eveb necessary to add this much. I will play soon to find out but was curios how others felt adding 3-4 grams or more on the hoop.

SW measurement without an RDC or Head machine is crap. My TT310 came to 326 with the SW tool app and 332 with a stopwatch. When I eventually found an RDC and measured it properly, I got 315, which is right where it should be.

Exactly as I found out tonight!

I'm pitching out the TT 310 with its 850 power in favor of the Phantom 93P with its 600. Maybe the TT 310 is for Nadal wanna-bes, baseliners. Me, I'm 4.5 all-court. I'm hitting really clean with this, and with controlled power. Anyone need a spare 310?
