Prince Tour Pro 100

Hi TT Racquets,

TL;DR: I'm looking for a racquet with similar specs to the Xi 98, but want to customize weight distribution while keeping static weight around 340g. Is this a good choice for replacement?

Wondering if I could get some opinions regarding this racquet. Bit of my history:
- APD GT (2010) for 1 year, started getting TE-like symptoms, now sits in my closet
- Switched to Yonex EZONE Xi 98 for another year. Have adjusted well to the higher weight, about 8 points HL, 340g static weight
- Rate myself about 3.5 NTRP

My dilemma is this: I had a 4 hour session 2 days ago (1 hour of light hitting, 1 hour of heavy rallies, 2 hours of set play) One of my partners was a heavy hitter, so we got into those grunting competitions to try and outhit each other from the baseline. Of course, because it forced me to hit harder than I usually like, I got a sore arm afterwards. Was really alarmed yesterday because I was getting tingling pain up and down my arm, but after massaging the arm and the nerve where TE symptoms occur, pain has subsided.

I'm aiming to avoid getting pushed back by these guys. It's been suggested that I increase mass in the hoop and then counterbalance in the handle, but right now 340g is about what I can handle in terms of static weight. Can't imagine what another 10g would do to my arm after another one of these sessions.

Please let me know what you guys think.

I think the Prince leaded up to 340 grams would be a great stick. I'd played for two years with the EXO Tour 100 16x18 and really enjoyed that stick. With lead it really came alive for me. I had it weighted up to 346 grams and it had all the plow, power and spin I could ever want. Honestly, I kinda miss that racquet. Really the only reason I moved on was because I sold my stringing machine, and I couldn't find a stringer that could string the racquet with tension consistence because of the EXO Ports. Wasn't a problem when I strung it myself.

if you call prince and pay for shipping then you they can send you a boomerang tool that you can give a stringing shop. most shop don't bother to use it because it is tidious, they just use a lock on the machines that doesn't give the proper pull due to the angle of the lock. just incase you would like to go back.

anywho the stick is great for the baseline and really soft. worth a demo, if you are unsure. i highly suggest the port version, i like the string movement.
