Rank these following players based on their performance on clay: Stan Wawrinka, Andy Murray, Robin Soderling, and David Ferrer

Wawrinka - 1 major, 1 Masters (2 finals), won RG over peak Djokovic and beat Fed en route, made 2 finals in total, 7 overall titles, 21 wins vs top 10 players

Soderling - back-to-back RG finals, beat Nadal in '09 and Fedr in '10, 3 overall titles, 10 wins vs top 10 players

Murray - 1 RG final, 2 Masters (1 final), and 2 additional SFs, 3 overall titles, 10 wins vs top 10 players

Ferrer - 1 RG final, 2 Masters finals, 13 overall titles, 23 wins vs top 10 players

Wawrinka is quite easily first in this case, but after that it gets a bit harder. Soderling has the biggest wins, highest peak, and the most finals, but he doesn't have the consistency of Ferrer or the performance at Masters like Murray. I do think Ferrer ranks fourth/last in this case since his finals appearance was the least memorable and he never actually won a big title on clay or beat one of the top dogs at RG.

Has to be Murray. He has the best overall results in big tournaments and that is ultimately what matters most.

If Soderling had just 1 Masters I would probably go with him for back to back RG finals and the historic 09 win, but he unfortunately did not manage that.

Ferrer has been playing 500s and 250s to beat top 10 players. But not top 10 clay players. Even a verdasco or someone will brush him aside on his good day.
