Riddle me this: Starting mains & flying clamps

I've looked through tons of threads and youtube vids, and haven't yet seen an answer.

Is the following possible:

Starting mains with only flying clamps AND
1) without double pulling,
2) without using a flying clamp on the outside of the frame, and
3) without pulling two strings (ie both ends of the string) at once.

all, of course, without making one main substantially under-pulled.

I've seen vids that purportedly show how to "start mains with only flying clamps" but all of them either use a flying clamp (incorrectly) on the outside of the frame, double-pull, or pull two strings at once, which some machines can't do.

Anybody?

Needless to say but I figured I'd throw it in: Only 2 flying clamps allowed and no starting clamp.

Thanks, I'm waiting for the mods to transfer this thread. But the starting pin is a no-go. Only 2 flying clamps, no more no less.

Following all the parameters you mentioned, the only way I can think of is fairly convoluted. It would be much easier and more effective to use a starting pin, or "incorrectly" use a flying clamp on the outside. Though it is possible, it would involve taking a step backward at one point and "unstringing" a previously tensioned main in order to clamp off and properly tension the first main which was "underpulled" courtesy of a double pull to start things off.

Now that's interesting! I'm trying to envision what you're thinking of...

What about using the method described in the Klippermate manual using a starting pin? All you need are two flying clamps and the starting pin.

Also, can people who are familiar with the Klippermate method advise whether there is something wrong with this method in terms of incorrect tension or stress on the racquet? I have been using it for years on my Klippermate but just wondering if this is an old way of doing things and if I should be using a starting clamp or a different method.

For the OP I can email you the manual if you want...

This uses double-pulling...which the OP does not want..

Link from tennisinoc on page 8 clearly shows you how to start with just using 2 clamps.

This technique uses double pulling which causes un-even tension.
