Ridiculous conspiracy theories

I guess it remains to be seen....

Stay tuned for the Michael Jackson: Back Alive Tour in 2013, I guess...(that's if the world doesn't end in 2012....)

I'm not saying it's true but as conspiracy theories go I think that's one of the less farfetched ones. Never forget we live in a VERY corrupt world with plenty of dark secrets.
Also he obviously would never reveal it if he was still alive...

What about the conspiracy about the music industry infiltrated by satanists/illuminati/masons/NWO. It seemed ridiculous at first, but of late, does not seem as farfetched as thought. There is this great website about it all:

www.vigilantcitizen.com

Great analytical perspective of todays popular artists and their crazy/wierd performances and hidden messages in their music videos. It's quite an entertaining read, to say the very least.

KFC changed their official name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC because their chicken isn't officially classified as chicken. Their "chicken" is actually genetically altered chickens. They grow the chicken meat only with no head.

This was a huge thing a few years ago. I couldn't believe people actually believed it (educated professionals)!

they don't give cows GH or rGH.Maybe you meant GnRH(releasing gonadotropeHormone)?Anyway would like to see any study to show this, since yourself produce everymoment the same hormones and plus when you digest it,hormones are broken down to particles like all the other proteins etc and should be safe.

The only reason I respond logically to this,is because many ppl believe it.

i was seeing a movie review in youtube about bolt by these funny guys called spill.com and then this guy was talking for some reason about lady gaga and the illuminati and i quickly went through one of their links and decided to post this about some people's ideas and clues of why several artists including lady gaga, michael jackson, tupac, have all worshiped the devil to become famous and have links and clues to that in their work, just go to this link it's mind blowing.

P.S." im not a real guru who knows about this i just found this in 5 mins and decided to share it, dont know if anyone will write a comment but i think it's interesting.

I present the following as absolute proof that a more advanced Indian technological society existed thousands of years ago. I consider the sum of the evidence as incontrovertible.

Ancient Indian literature is teeming with references to flying vehicles, weapons of mass destruction and advanced technology. Now, modern man has called this mythology. However, the writers of these ancients epics and documents call it history. As soon as one discards this unfounded arrogance, and is ready to test the veracity of this literature as history, he/she will discover that the advanced technology is described in a practical and empirical sense as opposed to the theoretical or fictional sense. Not only that, it accords in large degrees with modern scientific principles and technology. Example: In the Vynamika Shastra, real-time television is produced by a set of mirrors that recieve light, then worked on by electricity, which is then sent through and a tube and an image is projected onto a chemically-coated screen. It need not be mentioned that this is the actual mechanism on which televisions work.

Now, if the technology described here is nothing but the imagination of a tree-dwelling primitive man, why does it work?

Weapons and Technology

In fact, this is not the only reference to technology that resembles our own. There are literally hundreds of references to technology like our own, and also, that surpass our own. They fall under two categories: Astras(weapons) and yantras(machines)

The types of weapons:

Brahmaastras(Brahma's weapon)
Agniastras(Fire weapon)
Suryaastra(Sun Weapon)
Indraastra(Indra's weapon)
Narayananastra(Vishu's weapon)
Varunasutra(Water weapon)

Each astra has it's own effects and they evoke the power of the elements they are associated with. The most feared weapons were the Narayanaastra and the Brahmaastra. They were the equivalent of our weapons of mass destruction.

The Narayanaastra was a thought-seeking weapon that would destroy anything that had a thought it was programmed to destroy. It is described being used in the Mahabharata war, as Krishna was familar with it, he asked his side to all cast down their weapons and surrender to the weapon, and it will not affect them.

The Brahmastra was the most powerful weapon known and was rarely ever used. It contained the power of the universe and it could cause massive destruction. It could be likened to a modern-day nuclear weapon, in fact, it probably IS a nuclear weapon. Here is a passage from the Drona Purva describing it's use:

Gurkha, flying a swift and powerful vimana
hurled a single projectile charged with the power
of the Universe. An incandescent column of
smoke and flame, as bright as ten thousand suns, rose with
all its splendor.

It was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt, a gigantic
messenger of death, which reduced to ashes the entire race
of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas.

The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable.
Hair and nails fell out; Pottery broke without apparent cause,
and the birds turned white.

...After a few hours all foodstuffs were infected...
...to escape from this fire the soldiers threw
themselves in streams to wash themselves and their
equipment."

Dense arrows of flame, like a great shower, issued
forth upon creation, encompassing the enemy...
A thick gloom swiftly settled upon the Pandava hosts.
All points of the compass were lost in darkness.
Fierce wind began to blow upward, showering dust and gravel.

Birds croaked madly... the very elements seemed disturbed.
The earth shook, scorched by the terrible violent heat of this
weapon.
Elephants burst into flame and ran to and fro in a frenzy...
over a vast area, other animals crumpled to the ground and died.
From all points of the compass the arrows of flame rained
continuously and fiercely. "

This description so accurately depicts the use of a nuclear weapon, it's effects and the fallout. In fact, the scientist on the Manhatten project who described the first nuclear test used a verse from this same passage.

man has any real affect on global warming

The Sun and volcanoes have way more effect on GW than man ever could. I think we should try to reduce toxins and our impact on other species but Global Warming is a fairytale... like the tooth fairy.

If people examine every scientist that has a public opinion supporting Global Warming they are all anthropologist or in several other fields that have nothing to do with the study of climate or weather. All the actual university trained scientist that are doing the hard research say it's nonsense.

An aerospace engineer may be smart, but I'm not going to have them remove my appendix or guide my cancer treatment (I don't have cancer).

I suppose growth hormones are also part of their business. Their cultures of course are largely grown in the USA, but are forbidden in many parts of the world, including most of Europe.
There are sources qustioning the safety of their products, although I know nothing of genetics and can't have an objective opinion.

Still, I don't want to have anything to do with GMO, so I'm pretty happy I live in Europe :)

I meant climatologist that didnt' get their degrees mail order or from a website. During the climate talks in Copenhagen every respected scientist doing actual research at an actual research facility, usually a university, were all saying the same thing man made CO2 is doing little to affect climate change.

I think the US absolutely needs to get off the teet of fossil fuels and reduce the release of toxins/carcenagins, we're killing ourselves.

Did you know the per capita net worth of an abudabi citizen is around 17Million$ US

I wouldn't mind bringing some of that home.

Yeah lets believe the scientist that are on Exxon's payroll .

It's not convinient to think what humanity has been doing in the last 100+ years, but it has happened and is still happening.

How can anyone think man's activity has no effect on the climate?

Think about what you see when you commute to work every day. What do you see?

Think about what you see before you open your front door every day. What do you see?

I see thousands - literally, thousands - of little CO2, CO, and NOx generators all around me every time I leave my house. Tens of thousands, running all the time, just in my small city. How many cities are there around the world that are just the same? How many millions of cars, trucks, buses, tractors, trains, airliners, and motorcycles are running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, 10 years a decade? Each one burning fossil fuels, generating its own CO2 and pollutants.

I see thousands of homes and apartments. Tens of thousands, just in my small city. How many hundreds of millions are there in the world just like these? Each one - each and every one of them - consuming electricity. Computers, TVs, clocks, toasters, air conditioning, heating, aquarium filters, audio receivers, light bulbs, microwaves. Most of them burning natural gas, propane, or heating oil. Millions and millions and millions and millions, all over the world. Running all the time. Every day, every year.

Office buildings. Shopping malls. Warehouses. Airports. Hotels. Factories. Millions and millions of them, all over the world, always running. Always using energy, always generating CO2.

Look at these photographs of industrial pollution in China. This is happening on a massive scale. All over the place.

Now let's ask a question. It's a simple question, and I want you to ask yourself and answer - to yourself - as honestly as possible.

Can you honestly say that you believe that this does not have any effect on the global climate?

GW is NOT "Universally accepted". Scientist have only been taking tempreture readings for about 100 years. So you are basing an entire scientific theory on 100 years of observation on a planet that is about 95 MILLION years old..... that's like .0000000001%

From fossil records/sediment we know 2 things, the earth was once much warmer and much cooler over that time. Man wasn't around for 94,999,999.999999998 MILLION years of that time. How do you explain the Temprature variations then?

I'm not saying that we don't need to make some major changes. I'm just saying the whole notion of Man made Climate Change or Green house effect is arrogant Junk science and wrong.

Through very old ice we know the CO2 levels of the past few hundred thousand years.

The current CO2 levels are about 30% higher than the higest levels in them, and they keep rising (at an rising speed). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Carbon_Dioxide_400kyr.png

Humanity just can't afford to be wrong with this one, but as usual people choose the "easy path", denying responsibility to not have a bad concience and to avoid having to change things. People should start to take responsibility for their actions.

Lets say you are correct about CO2 levels increasing. It still doesn't matter what people do. Clouds(mainly water droplets) have a larger affect on temprature than CO2. Most estimates I've seen.... from actual scientist say that CO2 Levels have around a 5% affect on temprature compared to other atmospheric gases/phenomena.

80%+ of those CO2 sources are NATURAL aka NOT Man Made.

If you wanted to get serious you would talk about the size of modern cities and heat islands, deforestation, replacing grass lands with wheat, and such. I'm not saying activities of man aren't affecting climate at all but people are fixated on GW and CO2 and it's a fair tale.

You don't find it shocking that CO2 levels are 30% higher than at any time in the last 400'000 years? In 10-20 years it might be 40-50%.

And please stop writing about "scientists", give me some sources. Almost all fully support GW. I don't count FOX propoganda as scientific evidence.

It's known that the earth can absord some CO2, but not indefinately. Assume it's a bit like your bathtub, you can put a lot of water in it, but if you put 30% more in it than usuall (which I suppose is near-full) you'll likely have a problem.

BTW, I'm not expecting to convince you, most ignorant people are ignorant their whole life. Just think about this discussion when the last doubt of GW is removed (won't take more than 10-20 years).

I like your bathtub example. Our TOTAL contriution is maybe a buckets worth. Ok now if we enacted every single change from every one of your experts in every country including china/india and emerging countries in africa etc. You would be able to remove a baby droppers worth from the tub.

There's alot of other thigns that we can do that would have a much greater effect like not cutting down the rain forest.

I'm in GA and we just had some very bad floods. It had little to do with GW. It happened because we cut down all the trees so I can live in a 4000sq/ft house and there's nothing to soak up or slow down the water.

I'm not saying not to do anything I just think the GW crusaders are misinformed and misdirected.

Not cutting down the rainforest doesn't solve GW. The cutting down of forests is an additional problem, it "only" makes the overall problem worse.

And about the last part, you say others are misinformed and misdirected, and yet you have not named a single scientist with a reputation that supports your point of views. You believe in what is most comfortable for you, sadly many others do that do. It doesn't make it any better.

We need to act now. Minimize CO2 emission as much as possible, ban the production of cars and machinery that have needlessly high emissions, make people isolate their houses instead of heating more, build a lot more near-emission free public transportation infrastructure, start using more local products instead of importing stuff from 10'000 miles away and so on.

You can't ignore the problem despite having the opportunity to really get yourself informed and think you have no responsibility for the future GW-related deaths.

To the first statement check it out http://www.petitionproject.org/ here's a few thousand. I also listened to several hours of NPR's Copenhagen coverage and most of the very scared scientist that would go on record basically said the the same thing. Human added CO2 is not doing much to change weather patterns globally.

But you are 100% right on some things we should "make people isolate their houses instead of heating more, build a lot more near-emission free public transportation infrastructure, start using more local products instead of importing stuff from 10'000 miles away and so on."

Energy is going to become more and more expensive and reducing our energy costs are the only way we can stay competitive, especially since we are currently importing most of our energy.

I'm not against conservation. I think it's imperative. I just think Global Warming is becoming a religion, and is built on faith. Instead of the bible it uses computer models, inference, and imagination........

The petitionproject is just a list of some people that don't believe in WD (some of them signed back in 98 when a lot less facts/data was available).

The list was not even checked for fake names, there are people enlisted mulitple times and fake names (like "Redwine PHD").

You can get 10 times as many signatures of people with PHD thinking that the earth is 6000 years old.

Read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_change_consensus and you might learn something:
According to the results of a one-time questionnaire-based statistical survey published by the University of Illinois, with 3146 individuals completing the survey, 97% of the actively publishing climate scientists (as opposed to the scientists who are not publishing actively) agree that human activity, such as flue gas emissions from fossil fuel combustion and deforestation, is a significant contributing factor to global climate change.

Worst case scenario of GW may approach armageddon in some regions.

God must love how his earth his not only destroyed through cities, wars, pollution and deforastation, but also through GW.

You are not doing anything against it by denying the facts we have. God gave you a brain, use it, get informed by multiple independant sources instead of searching only for obscure facts that support your view.
If you really are deeply religious, you should be afraid of the consequences of chosing not to do anything against it when you had the chance to.

I find it hilarious that you use the Evangelical belief that Carbon dating is hog wash and the earth was created in 6 days and is only 6-10k years old.

Like them I don't believe the GW faithful will ever forsake their little g, god.

My information is not obscure and I have done my own research.

I'm not afraid of my God because I don't believe he is vengeful. Also, he knows my heart, and he gave me my intellect. As of today I have seen no compelling evidence that Global Warming is even real let alone seen evidence that people are contributing to a problem with "green house" type effects. So I feel no guilt. My mind is not made up. If I saw compelling evidence I would change my mind.

Evidence is not a bunch of computer models. A computer model is basically a fancy mainframe derived Excel spreadsheet. Old programming phrase is Garbage in Garbage out.

It's like the Movie Avatar. I love the Movie, it was beautiful and fun and I would pay to see it again.... but there is no Pandora.

Truth is if I believed that Human actions could make ANY effects to planetary temperature change I would support it even if the math was suspect. But when you look at the numbers objectively even if the US completely bankrupted every fortune 100 corporation it would not even be a blip on the radar. and one volcano explosion a mile under the pacific would negate anything we did times 10.

Crazy, but Perhaps True

My crazy theory is that gay men are heavily involved in women's fashion purely to get women to wear more and more ridiculous and unattractive clothing in order to drive straight men to think about "the other team."

At first, I was just joking with people, but the more I thought about it, the more plausible it sounded.

Think about it, if women's fashion is about women looking stylish or just showing off, why would a man who is attracted to other men have any interest in it? (We're not talking about transvestites, just normal gay men who wear men's clothing.) It makes no sense. And yet, gay men are prominent and heavily influential throughout the fashion world. What is their motivation?

At the same time, women's fashion is becoming more and more unattractive. I walk around these days and struggle to find any young women who look good (which makes it difficult to find women I want to date). Even the ones who I suspect have good bodies are wearing outfits that make them look fat (puffy outfits) and/or deformed (poorly fitting low-rise skinny jeans plus extra-length shirt tucked in, making them look hideously out of proportion, like they have no legs). The best looking ones are the immigrants from countries where the fashion industry has the least influence; they usually look the most stylish and attractive, until they live in the new country long enough to start dressing like the locals.

Wake up, people! :)
