There was a post of a closeup of Rafas racket near the Throat right at the vibe dampener you could see a main that has black strings and the throat of the racket said RAFA on it (clearly his) like all of his rackets do. The string said Durablast on it. I dont think he ever played a match with RPM. Its just a marketing scheme by Babolat.

except there are members on TT that have strung his rackets and said that the string he was using had the same profile as rpm blast....

It was a post on here about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Im searching google for any tt threads that might be it. But It did say Durablast. It was a post about his racket and strings, it showed the cortex clearly being painted on and the "durablast" on the strings.

I don't understand that picture in that thread.
If everyone says Nadal is using RPM blast (or something similar) and he is endorsing RPM blast, then why does the string blatantly say Pro Hurricane? That makes no sense at all. Even if its NOT RPM, I would expect Babolat to label it as whatever he's endorsing. If he's actually endorsing and using the same product (what a rarity!), then why print something else on the string? Something doesn't add up to me.

they wouldn't waste their time changing the print on the stinrgs. Like what are the odds that someone would have been able to see/read his strings? If he didn't part ways with those racquets then I doubt anyone would have proof that he doesn't use rpm blast.
