Well yea lol...i knew people would bash anime..which is hypocritical since out sport has taken the back seat to the x-games and freaking little league baseball...so why question why people like anime when people question why we like tennis.

I take it that you know nothing about anime. A lot of it isn't even for kids. Some of the shows, like Berserk and Death Note are written for teenagers and young adults, like me.

Lol I'm in the same boat..i watched until the fourth..digimon had a lot of religious references that i never got until i was older.

There's really nothing Dorky about it.

When i was in hs i had to hide that i was into this stuff.

Then sr. year i started to live by this philosophy: If i continue to live my life on other people terms and let their opinions deter me from my interests and ultimately my happiness? I'd sooner empty a clip into myself because a life like that isn't worth living.

You wouldn't believe the looks i get for being a (black) tennis fan..the racist jokes about being an oreo..etc but hey i got over it..nothing is going to make me stop loving tennis..at least something as trivial as people opinions.

Since then i've been happy.

sorry disagree. I did not like pokemon at all. I liked the characters much better in digimon, although the people I wanted to end up together, never did, but whatever. hey to each his/her own. My friend's ex bf was or is a huge pokemon fan and we were going at it for like a good half hour. She just sat there, probably thinking we were crazy for arguing over something like this.

I don't watch cartoons of anime much anymore..but viewing them at this age if fun because you can catch things you didn't when you were a kid.

There were a lot of angelic/demonic based digimon. The final baddie of the fourth season was essentially Lucifer (named Lucimon so yea) he started off as a cute little angel and turned into a monster (satan) by the end of it.

oh like I said, I stopped after season 2, because the characters switched and it got weird. For me season 1 was the best, followed by season 2, because many of the characters carried over. I just didn't like the ending, because the couples I wanted to be together, didn't end up together, although that really had nothing to do with the plot, just the girly romantic side in me speaking.



oh I just added the whole "as long as you don't hurt people", because if everyone did what made them happy, there might be a few hurt people, because some people's pain, makes others happy, you know some sick twisted,demented people and all and when I was thinking about that, I wasn't thinking about or referring to you.
