Roger's route to his 6th RG final

Ok Roger hasn't got Rafa or Andy in his half but let's have a look at his possible route to the final and the lurking dangers enroute. R1: Falla
R2: Granollers
R3: Karlovic
R4: Monfils
QF: Wawrinka
SF: Berdych/Nishikori

I think Roger has been given a golden chance to make the final again. The one match that has me worried is the possible 4th rounder with Monfils. The last few matches they've had together, Gael has caused Roger all sorts of problems and with the French crowd that'll be a very tough one to get through. I believe Roger's run to the final will lie on that match if it happens.

Like Wimbledon last year Roger has been given a draw that favors him considerably.

I have him a dead lock for the finals and actually think he can win it if the Djoker/Nadal/Murray sequence happens. I'm thinking if Djoker/Nadal make it through they could possibly be physically and emotionally exhausted.

You think that if Nadal gets past Djokovic and Murray, Federer will will be liking his chances to be Nadal? I can imagine that Rafa might be flat having to go through both, but it will be the final.

Monfils will be Roger's Waterloo in France. He can't beat Monfils ever again on any surface.

Federer is not beating Nadal if Nadal makes it to the final, lol. Please.

That is what I thought, and why I asked the question. :)

Unless he gets injured like he did against Stan in AO14, where he couldn't move anymore, I don't see how an even older Roger can win.

I don't think Federer will beat Nadal or Djokovic in a FO final if that were to happen.
