Should Wilson keep Sampras' Pro Staff 6.0 85 and one of Federer's Pro Staff 90 on their regular product line?

Probably not enough people who can play with them and that number would get smaller year after year. It’s great for us old farts but the younger players out there have no connection to older player style frames. I loved my 85 but it’s tough play with it in a serious and competitive match.

Pro Staff Mid is just like other racquets. It has some good qualities and bad qualities and some people like it and some don't. I don't see why they should keep it on their product line forever.

I haven't used Wilson 90 series but it would be the same.

If it's underspecced, slap 2-4 grams of lead at 12 to bring the SW above 330 (ideally above 335). I've been getting back to hitting again, and the 85 is giving me almost the same venom on my forehands that the 90 does. I could do with a larger sweet spot obviously, but I love how whippy the racquet is with all the weight at the tip. Way more fun for me than weight at 3 and 9. Weight at 3 and 9 makes it more stable obviously and a total brick wall from the baseline, but I'm not strong enough to move it quickly at net. Losing the quick reflexes up front feels like I'm losing half of the fun of the racquet. In either case, I feel most of the "issues" of the 85 can be remedied with some good old fashioned lead placement and a soft string in the mains (I prefer natural gut).
