Signum Pro Plasma and TopSpin Cyber Flash

I just tried these out on my Yonex RDX 500 MPs. The Cyber Flash at 55 / 52 and the Pro Plasma at 56 / 53.

Cyber Flash was the thinnest they had. 17
Pro Plasma was 17L

I decreased the tension on the Pro Plasma because I strung the Cyber Flash first and felt that maybe the muted feel was from the low tension. Anyways.

I normally used 16 gauage Syn Gut, but in the recent years I've been doing Kevlar ( oops sorry Dupont, Aramid ) and SynGut hybrids at 57/52.

The Cyber Flash was harder to string than most; especially the crosses, hardest being the last 3 lines. I had to use needle noise pilers to help me thread them as I didn't want to bend it. The nose cone on my Gamma 5003 warped the string a bit...ie made the were all circular because of the wrapping around the cone. So I stopped using the cone. I don't know what exactly its suppose to do. I calibrated my string with and without the cone, and it was exactly the same, so...dunno.
The Cyber Flash was nice to hit with in the begining. It felt solid and crisp without unexpected power or rockets; which is nice. Spin as OK, nothing spectacular. I did find that using a damper with the strings made the racquet feel to dead. I was able to play, for the first time since my junior days, without a damper. I love the feel of the ball from these strings...it was nice. Used for 3 hours, so can't say anything to the tension loss yet. Will keep updating...

The Pro Plasma is very good. Lots of pop and spin. I was expecting the spin, but the pop was nice although it did take time to adjust to the amount of power available. It was nice, because I was still in control. The feel of the strings wasn't as good in my opinion as the Cyber Flash. The Cyber Flash was really well damped and you could really feel the ball on the strings; the Pro Plasma was OK, but a bit tingy...although not as tiny as Kevlar.

Both strings had Zero movement or even fuzz from the balls! No more adjusting strings during matches...although that means more time getting angry at yourself. Alas.

Currently I like the Cyber Flash, provided it doesn't start losing tension. They Pro Plasma is nice as well, although it did, at times feel like the string was too tight. I'm going to try them at a lower tension.

The Cyber Flash was cheaper too. My 720 reel was 67 bucks and my 660 reel of Pro Plasma was 97.

Anyone try these strings in a hybrid? If so, let me know your thoughts.

I just hybrid the two together, with the cyber at 40 lbs on mains, and sppp 1.18mm at 64 first seven cross down from top, and the rest cross at 67lbs. Nice control, pocketing, good pop, with no trampolining issues yet.

I just tested the SPPP myself and the tinny feel does get better after a few hours of play on them. I also want to try the cyber flash.

I hope you're kidding...
