Not played these strings before but I will give a review because I'm bored :).

SPPP - 35lbs
Muted string with nice directional control.
Average spin, really nothing special, below average I'd say with polys.
Strangely enough, quite a small sweetspot/stiff for this tension, really surprised me, also strings were moving within 10 minutes.
Overall, really poor poly for me, I prefer crisp strings with some more spin potential and ultimately, at fast swings I was finding balls flying on me.

Topspin CF - 38lbs
I really did not expect any string to play like Alu, however, this one is the closest so far. It doesn't quite have that Alu feel but it has the pocketing, the spin/control but also a really crisp feel. Great poly, could be my new string due to the price.

I always believe that Luxilon & Babolat strings are overrated due to the "Pros" are using them & the publicity it gets
Topspin CF & Solinco TB are cheaper & better alternatives

What gauge did you use?

SPPP is one of the great of old school polys. You might be stringing it a bit too loose, try mid forties. I string it at 50-52 and plays pretty good and comfortable. I have no problem generating spin, actually I generate almost similar spin as the Hextreme with my forehand. However, it also rewards flat hitting equally and like you said, directional control is good as well. To be honest, it is one of those polys that does everything pretty good but nothing extra ordinary - so it really depends on your strokes. If you want massive spin , you better try some textured/twisted polys.

I heard good things about CF and going to try it soon because of the cheaper price. Although I'm used to great playability and tension maintenance from Signum Pro polys, so need to see how that turns out in CF.

You definitely scored an "ace" with your statement. Can I take ace on the second? Ha!

There are several strings that I have tried that are not on the mainstream like Luxilon and Babolats with good playing characteristics and nicely priced. Take Topspin CF for example. I always have a reel in stock for myself.

SPPP is an old school poly that is somewhat overlooked now-a-days with the market being overly saturated with newer, modern polys. SPPP does nothing great except for tension maintenance. Can't find a modern poly that can retain tension as good as SPPP.

I use SPPP @ 52 lbs in my RF 97's…feels great. Easy spin, good pop, but as others have said, is also easy to flatten out when needed. Holds tension pretty well, too.

Is your tension maintenance preference for SPPP based on string tension measurements or just feel?

topspin.cyber.flash is a unique feel. 2nd gen.copoly I keep going back to..
I recall thinking to myself that topspin.cyber.BLUE played alot like SPPP..
I do not dislike cyber.blue. but I don't like it as much as cyber.flash.
Sppp. I thought. ... ok. Not bad. What's next...
