So What Other Hobbies Do Y'all Have?

SlapShot

Can't view pics at work, but will check them out when I get home and have some free time (probably some time in 2012).

My guitar collection:

Gibson '61 RI SG
Gibson SG Classic
Fender Amer. Std Tele
Fender Mexi Tele
All-Parts Esquire copy
All-Parts '62 Strat copy
Breedlove AC25-SM (best sub-$800 acoustic on the market IMO)

Edit: I should add that I also enjoy recording. I'm working in the studio at this time with my band to get an EP thrown together, as our last recordings are from 4-5 years ago.

We jammin.....we hope you like jammin' too.......

My hobbies? Nothing much; just the ususal: (the occult, Russian roulette, sword play, sheep, goats, pharmeceuticals, etc..)

Seriously, horseback riding, football, skiing, ice skating, playing/recording/writing music --(scuba-diving and surfing no more). Take away the others above and I could think of a number of ways to 'break-a-sweat'. But music? You might as well throw me out with "the empties" in the morning.

Keys:
-- Cornish 'pump' organ (circa 1880's; "modernized" and powerized via two drilled 'baffle' holes into the bellows through the back of the organ--in lieu of having to 'pump' the two pedels in front. Stick a pair of microphones through the front and amplify; a very "different," very cool sounding organ. Vaccums tend to get "hot" in short order since they're muffled with sound-proofing material)
-- Vox Super Continental (the double manual Continental--mint condition)
-- Technics Digital Ensamble
-- Yamaha SY77 synthesizer
-- Mini Moog
-- Yamaha piano

Guitars:
-- Fender American Deluxe Power Telecaster
-- Gibson SG (giving away)
-- Gibson ES-335 (giving away)
-- Rickenbacker 325 (the 3/4-sized Lennon guitar)
-- Vox Mark IV
-- Fender Precision Bass
accoustics: Guild, Ovation, Epiphone

Amps:
-- Fender Twin Reverb
-- Vox AC30 H2
-- Roland RD-112 (white amp; great reverb)
-- Yorkville/Traynor K4 (narly, nice new little beast)

Drums:
-- RET Percussion Fusion Pro CX

Let's see...
Being the best husband and father I can be (OK, not a hobby per se, rather a calling/vow)
Lending a hand at church regularly (I do the sound mix/recording; we usually have a lively worship set with some really good musicians, keeping me on my toes)
Riding mountain bikes
Building and/or repairing mountain bikes for friends
Restoring old European cars
Club racing sports cars
Researching and writing books
Collecting German cameras of the 1920's-1950's (and using them)
Collecting fine Swiss and German timepieces
Travel
Trying new foods, wines, beers (everything in moderation, of course)
Playing bass guitar
Camping and backpacking in the Sierra Nevadas
Hanging out with friends and family

Looking for someone to take these off of your hands? I'll build you a cake or something.
slapper, thanks for the offer :). The ES-335 (thin neck, so comfortable in the hands) is an instument that I promised to my nephew/godchild upon his high school graduation; provided he stuck with the guitar. He always loved it and truth be told, his 'love' for the guitar ended up not being just a passing Pearl-Jam inspired temporary foray into music--he's in it for the long (life-long) haul; he deserves it.

The SG, I'm donating to a friend's music school; he has a recital where his students get to get up on stage and play a selected piece of theirs "with the band." Part of the show will involve some raffles and to that end, I donated the SG; not to fret (bad pun), but it's seen better days (small crack in the back).
