Some weird grip problem

I have a n six-one 95 and my friend has a n six-one 90 Tour. The thing is that we both have 4 3/8 grip size but mine feels smaller than his. Could it be the overgrip because we both have one layer but he uses the wilson x-tra tack overgrip and i use the pro over grip. Could someone explain to me? For some reason the x-tra feels better in my hands.

P.S. Can you compare the pro over grip and x-tra tack overgrip from personal experiences?

could be the leather grip, could be the over grip, the pro over grip is supposedly their thinnest, i donno i never found it all that much thin.

never used it. more likely than not its cuz leather grips dont have as much give as synthetics. ive found that to be true always. ive always had the same effect you're describing, even using the same overgrip.

also the longer you use a grip the smaller it becomes (for synthetics), which that compression you guys are talking about, so your friends grip might've been used longer whereas yours is freshly wrapped

Good point, especially if the 90 has a leather grip on it and the 95 has a synthetic. Leather grips dont compress nearly as much as synthetics do over time
