String Savers???

Hello I am considering about buying string savers but do not know if it will affect my strokes. I use Tecnifibre x-one Biphase (Multifilament) and just break my strings way too often. I have tried both co poly and polyester strings but just do not like the dead feeling I always get and love multifilament. I've heard some people say that the string savers will also deaden the strings, anyone ever tried it before?
Thank You

Try them. They are not expensive and will prolong your string life. You can always just use them as needed when you see worn intersections.

I use string savers all the time, specifically the Babolat elastocross.
I prefer this over the Tourna S/S.

I get the following benefits:
  1. Significantly prolongs string life (natural gut, x-one bi-phase 18g, etc).
  2. It improves my topspin because it reduces string to string friction
  3. It does not affect my strokes. I do not have to adjust my strokes because of it.
  4. It grabs the ball more helping generate more spin.

Try it. It is only $9

String savers will only deaden your strings if you use them like they're glitter.

Find your sweetspot, and put them in an alternative pattern (so you won't increase the tension dramatically)

Like so:

| + + + |
|+ + + |

(Yes, I only use 6, that's enough for my sweetspot)
