Switching Rackets need advice

Hello guys I am new to the forums.
I am currently using Babolat Pure Drive Team Plus strung with Babolat Pro Hurricane Tours @ 57 lbs.
I am looking to switch on to a new racket, something lighter with better feel.
Head MicroGEL Radical Midplus not sure which tension I should go, maybe 56lbs?

Hmm...

Lighter, yet with better feel than a Pure Drive Team strung with poly?

All I can offer is that the issue of feel is almost purely subjective. If you like a crisp "pop" at contact, stick with a stiffer racquet. Something with more flex to it will probably produce more of a feel of pocketing the ball on contact, but if it's also lighter than your PD, it would probably seem a good bit less powerful.

The TW demo program is a lot of fun and really easy to use - just in case you haven't sampled it. You only have to pay the shipping and you can sample almost everything in the shop.

I had a quesion about that.
Do I get to choose the tension of the racket I want to demo?
I was thinking of looking at dropping my tension to 56 with that racket if I were to get it.

That the "big crap-shoot" with the demos - you only get what they come strung with for your test drive. It's a whole lot better than just reading some spec's and other players' impressions of it, but not quite the ideal scenario.

Seems to me that any racquet I get for myself usually needs a couple of trial and error stringings to get them dialed in for me, so that makes it easier to forgive the "as is" setup of the demos, unless they're strung with some junk that's rock hard of way too loose.

not sure what the specs to your current racket is... and hard to recommend anything in the feel department if you don't say what you prefer in terms of balance, swingweight, stiff or flexible, firm or cushy string bed. I think the biggest factors in terms of "feel" are stiff vs flexy and firm vs soft string bed, so personally I'd start there.

Generally all the demos are strung at the mid point...i.e. if the tension range is 50-60 it will be strung at 55.

I normally make sure that is indeed true and also what strings it is strung with....that way when you are extrapolating in your mind how the racquet might play with your preferred strings @ your preferred tension you can correctly estimate that.
