The 2024 AO final is taking place in less than 15 hours as of now. Sinner and Medvedev advanced to the final, and while it is the first ever Slam final for Sinner, it is the 6th for Medvedev.
Because of how incredibly Sinner played against a prime Djokovic on Friday (yes, Novak was playing great on Friday, don't deny it), and also due to how exhausted Medvedev must be resulting from all the 5 setters he played throughout the tournament, I am going for Sinner in 3 comfortable sets.
I think it will be a one-sided beatdown, similar to the 2019 AO final, except, of course, Sinner would play at a much higher level than the victor back then.
But what do you guys think?
