After enough trial and error ive found the ultimate string lubricant to bring my dead polys back from the tennis graveyard. I first used silicone spray which worked for 20 minutes on court, in all, too dangerous for the skin and smelt really bad and just not good for humans as you smell the particles. I brought this "sex lube" from Pjure, a german company and the lube claims to have silicone in a safer form. Sex lubes are obviously centred around making friction smoother so i could see how the lube could increase friction and last long on racket steings. I applied a about 5 drops amount to the middle of the frame on both sides, smells of nothing harmless for the health and plays Fantastic! More topsin, power and comfort and the lube was very cheap. I brought the 30ml so its portable and could reaply every 30+ minutes of play, amazingly, it lasted longer than the silicone spray and i am so pleased that i dont need to restring again as the strings play great!! I encourage you all to give it a try as it has helped my game tremendously. Peace and much love.

What does 5 drops do? Where do you apply that.
I'd think you'd need to spray the entire face, and then move each string to get full application under the string.

I brought an oil mister from **** to put the "lube" into, i just sprayed couple times on each side until the face was covered. Yeah without the spray like 4 to 5 drops on each side should work.

You can spray if you want, just know that most of the lube is going to miss the string. Buying paint in a gallon or pint can is going to be much cheaper than buying it in spray can. You get much much much more actual paint that way, without buying the propellent and other stuff and do not loose paint in the air.

I just started experimenting so.. about 2nd try. First time I tried to get at each cross, that was way too much work. Now I put a couple of drop of mineral oil or whatever your favorite lubricant is on a small clean rag. Then rub the rag along the cross strings, one string at a time. Do one side then another. Then move the main strings back and forth. Rub some more or rub to dry it up. I definitely feel the main string not getting stuck as much. This is on Ashaway Liberty synthetic gut on a 90's ProKennex BlackAce. While playing the mains stays pretty straight.

I need to play with it more to give a proper report. Good luck!

Complement your sex lube with viagra.

Take your game to the next level.

Wide spectrum.

My take on it is just that I can't be bothered to move strings back and forth. And the ball will do that where nescessary to a large enough extent during play imo. Just slide the FastFret stick over the center half or so of the string bed on each side, and you're ready to go. Takes llterally about 6 seconds. Add 2 x 3 seconds to take the stick out of the can and put it back in again, otherwise it will dry out.

One of the best posts I've ever "read". You're too funny, Signor. ;^)B

Btw, jojoba is a wax, so you've got the best of all world's in that one lil' "handy" travel bot. And, that's quite a pair of butt-melons on the cover, heheheee.
Thanks, I made it even funnier.:D:p

With wiping mineral oil onto the cross string, I think it works for roughly about an hour of baseline rally. Then the Ashaway Liberty started to not come back straight. Overall I still enjoy the 90'ish square inch of stringbed on the ProKennex BlackAce being pretty consistent, low angle.

You are not supposed to answer this thread seriously. It’s already derailed.
