The Hate Here is Gross

Hate for Novak...hate for the lines lady.

too many just jumping on another man’s unintended mistake to slander him. (And I don’t mean fair criticism.)

Too many absolutely trashy and completely garbage remarks about her faking, as if anyone could ever know. Just an absolute crap-fest.

I’m not a Novak fan but the way some folks are treating him in this is simply sad.

And the same for so many gross words about this lady from others - sick stuff.

I feel bad for the good Novak fans around here like @Hitman, @NoleFam,@King No1e and others.

From this Fed fan, I feel for ya and don’t like the hate piled on him.

To the haters, y’all need to listen to what the flower people say.

Anything remotely disastrous happening will yield memes, trolling and vitriolic bile. Fed's had his cerebral facets trashed for over a year, now Nole is getting his intentions confused with those of a Bond villain because of a momentary modicum of neglect and unfortunate result. Partisanship + internet is the bulk of the recipe for such consistently spasmatic burials.

If Novak was actually a Bond villain he'd already be considered the GOAT. The loving hate such a candidate would receive would simply end the debate and numbers would no longer matter.

You foretold his failure whether he won this tournament or lost it.
I foretold the possibility of his failure and the consequences (I said if he loses, it will be talked about for the next year or more, just as Federer's Wimbledon loss has dominated this forum for the last 14 months).
My thread was-
If Djokovic loses the 2020 US Open will it be the biggest FAIL in the history of tennis and worse than Federer's 2019 Wimbledon loss?
It was a very negative thread about Djokovic, at a time when Djokovic fans were constantly posting worship threads.
So I was closer to the truth than anyone.

Before that you also posted how Djokovic winning it would ruin his legacy.

So either way, Djokovic was still going to emerge as the loser.

Been on these boards since 2004, haven't seen such hate towards a player, Novak, since being on here. Such an unfortunate and bizarre incident. Had Fedal been in this situation, I don't think they would've been defaulted.

Exactly, and I described it as a NO-WIN situation.
Because if he wins then it'll be discredited because of the weak draw (the first draw without Nadal-Federer).
And if he loses it'll be considered a huge missed opportunity.

Even though Novak is one of my favorite players, I disagree with your statement. Yes, it was unintentional and unfortunate, but it was careless and completely justified DQ.
I don't think Fed or Nadal would have done something similar and if they did, the same rules and outcome would have been applied to them.

Just a bad bad luck for novak that the other day missed that EMIRATES sign after the match, but hit this lady right at the narrowest part of her body...

Maybe a lesson learned for him.

I still believe this will just make him come back even stronger!

The flower people will not be listened to. On TTW, the hate goes to 11.

Finally a non Big Three car wins an F1 race. With Ferrari being a ****show, at least the rest of the field only has to depend on the misfortune of 4 cars rather than 6 cars.

Lelz, a bit of luck is needed to overthrow Hamilton.

It was definitely a funny and curious sequence of events but hey ho, rule 28.14 is punishable by 38.3 (d) without margin for discretion and that was that. What Alpha Romeo were doing bringing in Gio with so much extra time to relay the information of the closed pit entry, though, I have no idea. Sainz avoided the same infraction because his team had the time to make the situation clear to him otherwise he was also going to come in -- he was 12 or so seconds behind Hamiltong and running in 2nd place. Here, Hamilton being so far out in front and the team having little time to respond to the situation bit him in the arse. He was changing dash settings to prepare to come into the pits and missed the flashing X panels which anyway at a glance to me appeared at first to be merely "SC" warnings. The team told him to box and were unable to relay the appropriate information to Hamilton. And yet his rivals were unable to make any real inroads into his Championship lead. Verstappen was invisible and had a poor race by his standards and had to retire due to the threat of a serious PU problem, and Bottas was insipid (WAOW big surprise).

Odd race, but grateful for it.

What do you think of Albons chances of keeping his seat? I've heard he is in danger.

*Shrugs* I have no idea how Marko's and Horner's brains work. I should imagine that Albon will be given the full season but that if Gasly keeps up this performance and Albon continues to be so crap that Gasly will get the seat for 2021. Gasly has made it clear that he has unfinished business at Red Bull and he wants a second shot at it.

I think this will likely be the fuel that drives Djoker to smash the Slam count. He seems like the guy that does better when he feels slighted. It wouldn't surprise me if he won the next 8 slams ......

I think he’ll bounce back no problem, but this wasn’t special treatment. It was the opposite.

It was treating him like Shapo, Nalby, Henman.

He did a stupid thing that went way worse than he meant, but he really has no one to blame but himself.

So I don’t think he’ll feed on this that way - not like the crowd-hate he gets sometimes. Hopefully he’ll just mature more.

She's been receiving death threats on her instagram. She has a son who passed away in 2008 and they're saying she'll join him soon. Really bad taste. I can see why they choose to support No-vax ********.

Well, the Fed hate was gross which was carried on 90% by Djoko fans. That’s one reason why Djoko is torn to pieces on TTW. Something about “Respect is earned”.

Djoko and his parents did their part to make a lot of folks feel obnoxious.

Fair enough on the back and forth - hate feeds hate ...and especially Srdan, big time. He’s only made it harder for his son to be liked ironically.

But I’m not sure Novak himself has done anything blatant to earn full-on hate, except being a wall of fortitude against my favorite player. He’s at least always respectful w Fed even if they’re no love lost.

I get folks being turned off by him for sure. i have a hard time w some of the stuff he does/ says.

But the full-on hate stuff is crap.

Just like when folks here act like tools about Fed, (cow, chokerer, weak era ad-naseum).

Djokovic will be hated on constantly for the next few years, because his fan base keep making dumb threads with exaggerated titles.
Some of them do for sure. Awful crap.
But he has some great fans here too.

And there are Fedal fans who post crap too.

Spot on. The hate poured on Nadal when he skipped USO and then all the talk about Djokovic equalling his 4 USOs to correct the anamoly and being better at 3 Majors on top of the now 18 month 40-15 rubbish has simply put a huge bullseye on Djokovics back that many are now throwing darts at. I knew this was coming i have said for past 3 weeks i did not see Djokovic winning the event and could not understand why djokovic fans were so sure he would win given his relatively mediocre US record since 2015. Did not think he would collapse as he has done but still his fans were i think wearing rose tinted glasses past few weeks rather than seeing obvious massive flaws in his game.
