The "Pockets for Ladies" Thread

A number of us are interested in tennis attire with exterior pockets. Maybe when we find something we should share the info?

I just saw this skirt here at TW, on sale for $53. It has side slit pockets. Does anyone have it? I am thinking of taking the plunge.

How is Lacoste sizing?

I don't own this specific skirt, but in my experience the lacoste whites are a little see-through and weirdly bright, so you can't really wear the skirt with any whites except the shirts designed to go with it.

Nope, it's going back.

The size 6 fit OK, but there are issues. Because the fabric is a bit sheer as Inga said, the pockets show through too much.

The biggest problem is one of fit or design or something. I have a butt. It's not huge, but it is there. This skirt fits the butt fine, but the pleats in front hang down. The effect is like the skirt is kind of hitched up in back or something. A bigger size would fall to the ground, especially with a ball in the pocket.

So it has to go back. I think pockets might always be an issue on skirts because it would be hard for them not to be visible.

Too bad. It looked cute with a black top . . .
