Agreed, Murray is anything but PC. He's aggressive in speaking for social justice and calling out bad actors (Gimelstob). People often confuse political correctness for any pro-equality or liberal views, which is telling.
Political correctness to me means excessive neutrality or a lack of distinctive views on a topic. It's not necessarily a bad thing for an apolitical person to be PC, like Federer who, in typical Swiss fashion likes to keep careful neutrality on touchy subjects.

Do you like any player other than Federer, Chad?

I noticed you are pretty nasty when it comes Nadal, Murray and Djokovic. And here I thought you are all enlightened.

Is it the side effect of being a Fed fan?

Im not even a big fan of Federer (like watching him play though). I've been enjoying the Salem tournament this week, more into the sport that the players.

Lol at the bold. Nadal, murray and djok all have traits that make them unlikeable to me

I’m sure Andy’s been fined on several occasions for swearing on court, the first time was probably that DC tie in 2006.

He's certainly had warnings but I've never heard of any fines (I'm sure the media would love to have reported it if there had been any).

Yes, frequently. Including two epic on court meltdowns at the USO - 2013 vs Stan and 2016 vs Kei. Oh, and there was that totally weird one when Andy was two sets to love up in the Wimbledon final 2016. That’s just a select few. Don’t be fooled by the media circus’ narrative that Andy was a choir boy on court when the Easter Island Statue was being paid $$$$$$$ to be there.

When has the media ever claimed he was a choirboy on court? Didn't get the Easter Island reference, sorry.

I’m pretty sure moments like this have been a frequent occurrence all through Andy’s career, regardless of who is/isn’t sat in his coaching box. As an Andy fan I prefer it when he just gives himself a bollocking in the third person.

Andy's outbursts are almost always directed at himself or at his box or at the situation. I've never known him to swear directly at an opponent or a court official although I've certainly seen him have occasional words with the umpire. I've never heard him swear publicly at any of his coaches directly and certainly not Lendl. If the incident with Gilbert is true then that is indefensible and I can only ascribe it to youth and immaturity.

I dont care if players do it to themselves, but Murray is taking it out on others.

I was a big fan of Nick until his last match, before he would only attack himself.

While Federer remains a saint . Got it.

It’s your inability btw to accept people as they are. Why judge? We don’t know what they go through on a daily basis. Do you?

What federer does has no relevance to what andy does. Your justifing bad behaviour with bad behaviour to suit your "agenda". (you like that word :) )

Look closely at the bold, seems to be a problem we share :p

No. I am only making you aware of your actions. You called Nadal a pig too.

I have never seen you say anything even remotely negative about Federer. Surely he’s not above us.

The people in his box. What we were discussing

Lots of players shout at their box so he's hardly unusual there. I was talking about swearing and bad-mouthing opponents and court officials which I've never seen or heard him do apart from that awful anecdote about Brad Gilbert which I hope wasn't true.

Pig isnt an insult i use for men, you sure it was that term?

Ive said many things bad about fed, lately its been about his entitlement because he is "old". Also called him a part time pro that his really hurting the master events.

I dont care if you say stuff about fed, but do if you say it about me, funny how that works isnt it :)

Nick and who else? Your trying to justify it "because others do it".

Nick and who else...what? I seriously hope you're not trying to compare Murray with the likes of Nick!!

I think players' teams understand that they will be the target of their player's frustrations at times and don't take it personally. Murray has kept the same team with him for very long periods so they can't have felt too badly about it. I don't justify it but then I'm not singling out Murray for it either when you and I know that many players do likewise so why aren't we singling them out too?

I was asking who else does it besides murray and nick. You keep using the term "players" when im using last names.

Yelling at others after you made the mistake is just weird to me. What exactly are they supposed to do since your not allowed to coach?

And I ask again, besides Murray and Nick...what? In what way are Murray and Nick in any way comparable with their behaviour on court? Murray just called Nick out for what he did in Cincinnati despite being a close friend. To compare Murray's behaviour on court with Nick's disgusting and outlandish actions is a massive insult to Murray.

They understand they are a target for their player's frustrations. That's all.

I was wondering who else does this besides andy and nick.

Djokovic, for instance, does it often when he is under stress eg. the time he got into trouble for appearing to shout at a ballboy when he was actually shouting at his box as the kid tried to hand him a towel.

Yes, that was the term you used. You said something along the way after Nadal’s match that the pig’s match was over and now you could watch some ‘real’ tennis.

And what you said about Federer is constructive criticism which is fair but to imply Nadal’s game is not tennis and call him a pig on top of that is just on another level.

I am not trying to roast you here; you know full well I like you very much and think highly of you, so I don’t really understand your disliking of these 3 players. Do you also like/love them? Then feel free to criticize them if your emotions are coming from a loving place.

I was talking about serena, they switched to her match instead of showing nadals.

Roast away, you should know by now there is one opinion i care most of about here, mine :)

You're talking about Nadal but anyway. Feds don't call Serena pig. But regardless, calling someone pig is meant to be an insult; doesn't matter if it's Serena or Nadal. You clearly have a deep disliking of both.

And yes, everyone cares about their opinion the most here and anywhere. No revelation there.
