Sinner, Norrie and Agut played 24 tournaments in 2021, all finishing in the Top 20 largely for it with Sinner #10. Basilashvili playing 28 got the 17th most points for the year (Covid rankings had him outside Top 20 YE).

Meanwhile, Novak of course played only 11 tournaments including the ATP Finals, which without injury shortened season was the least amount in the Top 20 by a margin with Berrettini closest with 4 more.

Some of those are Covid with Shanghai, Tokyo and maybe Cincinnati. But yes.

Fed only played 15 tournaments in 2005 getting 6700 which if I'm not mistaken probably would be more in 2021. In 2017 he only played 12 tournaments and grabbed 9600.

Agassi only played 13 in both 1990 and 2003 finishing YE #4, and 16 in 2 of his 3 YE #2 seasons.

Becker only played 13 in 1989 when he finished a strong YE #2.

But of course Borg playing only 9 tournaments for a YE #4 finish in 81 or 12 tournaments in his 1980 YE #1 finish (for ranking).
