Gasquet's backhand is truly a thing of beauty
I used to like Kohlschreiber's more but now that I am watching this I think Richard's is clearly the bigger weapon, even if his stroke isnt as pretty
If you made of list of the best matches featuring a one-handed backhand then Kohlschreiber's match against Roddick at the AO is definitely up there. I agree though that Richard's backhand is better. Even if he loses his backhand never seems to let him down/make for a boring match.
That was ridiculous.Jesus. What a backhand return.
If only he wasn't French..
wild guess... Tipsy to come back from 2 sets to love down... though I hope not.
IDK, if Gasquet keeps his level close to where it is now Tipsy doesn't stand a chance.
@Sonicare, I tip my cap to your sig...
Very true - other guys would be eating breadsticks.Credit to Janko for staying only one break down again.
Gasquet is pummeling Tipsarevic.
Probably just frustrated that RG is in GOAT-mode.Not quite sure what Tipsy's problem is.
Gasquet probably played the best match of his career. I've seen him hit his BH well. But his FH, serve and net game were top notch. Hard to gauge how Tips played - Gasquet controlled the play - and wasn't missing. 8 UE in 3 sets is incredible. What the hell happened to Tipsy today? Was he just outclassed?
