Tommy Paul Forehand: Modern or Next Gen ?

Hi fellow tennis players, would like to ask your opinion on whether Tommy Paul forehand is considered Modern or Next Gen ? His take back to the point of hitting is loopy, yet typical Next-Gen forehand usually point the racket head to the opponent, but he did not.

And is his forehand semi-western ? Thanks for reading

His is interesting cus PoMo forehands normally make use of the transition from a flexed wrist on the takeback to the extended wrist on the backswing to generate torque and spin, but Tommy kinda just hits it flat after all that charging up.
