Cool thanks guys. Ill give those a shot. Ive been switching up my poly's but I have been using live wire 16 for a while now.
I just bought a reel, so if you want to try some just text me and we'll meet up somewhere.
Yeah. Excellent string in many ways and a bargain. I find it comporable or better than most of the 10-20 dollar multis.
Ok... I played with the BAM and Maxim Touch setup for the second time yesterday night... so I have but in about 3 hours of play with it. I am not a big topspin hitter as a rule... but I have noticed that with the thin gauge string I am really fluffing up the ball. I have also noticed that the BAM looks like it is holding up well... the Maxim Touch is already notching pretty good. My guess is that if I were to use this racket exclusively... I would snap the string on a regular basis... every 10-15 hours or so. Great setup though.
Anyone else eating up the Maxim Touch 17?

Coy^^ Try Tecnifibre NRG very durable multi. My Hitting partner has been using it in the Mains crossed with SPPP and still has yet to pop. That was 2 months ago, hits four times a week.Worth every penny I buy it in reels.Test it out
I use it to cross my Tonic mains.Very Durable crisp set up.
Also Head Rip is quite durable for an afforadable Multi.Good string.
I look forward to your test results.
My 2nd stick with the Maxim 17 made it 11 sets of singles and 1 set of doubles before breaking this morning. For a string breaker like me, this is very good. The strings don't move much either. I'm going to start increasing the tension as my elbow gets better. The low tension combined with using a crank machine gives me the trampoline effect at times. Looking forward to testing it when I have more control.
After using the NRG2 18ga at 63- I think next time I will go up to 65lbs. The comfort of the string and bite was impressive, however, after it loosened up, I couldn't use my natural swing power like I can with my poly set up.
Using this full bed NRG2 1.18 it was very easy to be consistent, getting good feel for depth at a regular power tempo, nothing too drastic just ease of stroke. I would say anyone looking for a comfort, touch full multi set up, then this would be a great string. Interesting to note, the first time I hit with this the strings moved all over the place, however two days later when I picked it up to hit, the strings didn't move as much perhaps due to settling.
I have ordered NRG2 18 from TW and waiting for it to arrive. I have Babolat PSL which is 18x20 pattern in a 95 head. I cannot wait to get out and try this string.

???? What did you think? I thought it was a great full bed set up- lost tension on me sort of fast- but great feel- bite- touch- strings moved the first day but then settled in- great string for someone who wants power with the ability of control
I managed to hit with NRG2 18 last night. It was a great feeling. My only downside to using 18g is it will break in 4 or 5 hours for me. I cannot afford that cost unless I buy a cheap stringer and string myself. I might try some 17g string like prince premier softflex 17 or the NRG2 17.
I switched from poly-muti hybrid to full multifiliment this year. Currently using live wire pro on the mains and prince premier on the crosses. Works well, with controllable power and good feel. Live wire has a bit more power than I want, Premier has a bit less. Together, at 58lbs, they seem perfect. Spin generation is less than the polys provided, but not bad. Someone else suggested gamma tnt and I agree that that might be a great solution for you. good power and real good spin (I always noticed all the green fuzz sticking to the tnt crosses in my hybrids. something about that string really bites the ball)-- If i had a reel of it I might have used tnt myself.
