Tour90 specs and tolerance. Please Help

Just asking. I own two Tour90’s bought in match pair. Couple days ago some guy offered me brand new Tour90 for standard price. I check the racquet and beside just a little less shiner paint it seems original. Then I check the weight and balance and it was ok compared to mine Tour90’s. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring one of mine racquets because I know the weight and balance that I need. I bought the racquet and when I started to change over grips and prepare racquets for next match I have noticed that the new one is shorter! I compared the racquets in detail and the hoop is the same, but the grip on the butt cap (butt cap identical) side is shorter for 4 mm. I measured all three racquets and find out that my old two are 68.8 cm long, and the new one is 68.4 cm. More than a half cm I little bit to much I think, so I want to ask about your experience with Wilson racquets and especially Tour90. Is this normal and allowed tolerance for Wilson or is something else, the new one is fake or something. Like I said, 6mm shorter from desired specs is little too much. 2 mm shorter like my old racquets is, I think ok, and with in manufacturers tolerance.

Please, I want your opinion about this case.
Thanks for your time
Regards

I suggest you cut the strings out and measure again. You should find the racquets to be much closer in length, if not identical.

I have one Tour90 & one Nsix-one Tour 90, they both bought from TW, the N90 is short about 1/2cm compare to T90, they string at same day, same string & same machine.

To accurately check the length, you should have the racquets unstrung. If you've just strung them up, then wait till you pop the strings and measure each one before stringing it up again - that way you wont waste three string jobs and can just record the length for each one, making note of it for when the others need stringing.
If for any reason you believe the racquet may not be original, contact Wilson via their web site or your local rep. They have markings and codes on original racquets (usually near the handle on the shaft of the racquet) and should be able to verify the racquet’s originality.

Lord, I have the same problem. Could you check if both raquets are L versions ( L3,L4...) I own one Tour90 bought from TW L4 and is 4mm longer than other two I bought in europe. Those last ones are SL4 grip size. I´m asking wilson if they could give more information about it. Differences between regions?

It is the same with me. The one is SL4 and I think the two old ones are L4.Hmmm. I will try to adjust but cap position on the new one and see what will I get, but I think that they can be hardly made to be the same.
