TW, What is really going on with LaserFibre?

To TW,

Since you guys have a relationship with Laserfibre (sell their
strings), can you find out what is really going on regarding
the shipment/deliveries of the "new" Laserfibre Quantum
stringing machines?

I've read many threads regarding the delayed shipments
and all kinds of poor business practices. Recently a couple
posters (whom other posters have claimed to actually be
Tim? from Laserfibre or some shill) have "received" their
Quantum machines. I put it in quotes because some people
are in doubt whether they actually got them or not. It's
hard to tell what the actual truth is b/c it's also possible
that some of the detractors are people who work for
a competing company.

Is there a reason why TW does not carry the Laserfibre
machines? It seems like there is quite an interest by
many on the boards to get one.

small operration with a few people building machines and taking orders, alot of people want the new machines, they aren't like the older lf machines i would say not to purchase alittle disapointing compared to what tim told me they would be..

Are you guys planning on continuing to carry Laserfibre LaserTour strings and some of the others they make? I just noticed that you guys haven't replaced the strings that you've sold out of and now all that's left is their real expensive stuff. Thanks.

I'm sorry for the lack of responses to this thread.

There have been issues with availability in the past regarding the LF stringing machines and we have not brought them in.

I will have to check on new string models and availability with our buyer.

Thanks for the response. How long ago were these availability issues?
Just to clarify, these past issues made TW decide not to bring in any more
Laserfibre machines in the future? Do there still have problems with
availability? It seems that on the boards there are some people claiming they
got their machines and then some others claiming they ordered them and
waited for months and still haven't received them.

We've not stocked Laserfibre machines so there was never a decision to discontinue them.

Right now we are happy with the Gamma Progression II as an affordable, portable stringing machine.

We are way out of the loop on any info regarding their current availability, as this is not something we have pursued recently.

I’m aware there are some folks on here waiting on machines and I’m sure they are as up to date as anyone.

As far as string availability goes, Laserfibre have yet to respond to our enquiries so we have made all out of stock items invisible at present.
