So after much frustration and 3 months of waiting i did receive my Laserfibre TT machine this past week. I had some initial issues with setting it up but everything is fine now. I have since strung 2 racquets with the machine and i am fairly satisfied.
Iinitally i was sent the double action clamp but laserfibre was nice enough to allow me to swap to the single action clamps for the upgrade price. I strung a racquet with each of them. Though in the past i used double action clamps, i think i prefer the single action ones just to avoid that extra step.
Conclusion:
1. Laserfibre has a quality well-made machine. It is debatable whether price-performance matches with other machines (i haven't used enough of them). I am very happy with Laserfibre's machine.
2. You may have to wait a LONG time to receive a machine.
3. Laserfibre, if you reach someone on the phone (i had a 30% success rate), will be extremely patient, courteous and forthcoming with answering any questions you might have.
4. It can be EXTREMELY frustrating NOT being able to reach anyone at Laserfibre. It is variable whether they will return phone calls or emails.
So i'm done talking about this. I hope someone finds this info helpful.
