Watching some classic stuff, mainly for the legend of Gracie .

I saw and read fighting articles and basically said all these masters in martial arts(exception being Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) loose badly when they had to fight in an event or out in the street.

You never wanna take a street fight to the ground or their buddy will kick you in the face. Gracie brothers did a good video
All the Gracies train some stand up but 80 percent is Bjj

I think the mindset is most important in fight. A defensive mindset goes along way, with striking and wrestling there is alot of allowance on recoil. Kind of commit, defensive boxing with a strong leg kick is hard to beat

Fight Night in Minneapolis, Ngannou TKO de Santos after de Santos threw a wild overhand right that miss and his body went with the punch, which was his 1st punch and only punch he threw! Ngannou just jag him on the cheek and he went down. Fight really lasted 20 seconds but the said a minute!

Jones used to be my favorite fighter. Acts like he never failed a drug test or poked opponent in the eyes.

Just seems like every Jones opponent says the same thing. That his opponents beat themselves and that they're going to get in Jones' face and make it a fight. Then they eat a few leg/body kicks, maybe a knee on the inside and they spend the rest of the fight trying to survive.

Watching the prelims now, jones may have the biggest "mma" forehead in the sport (lesnar was previous champ).
Mma forehead = muscular eyebrows, makes them buldge out, only one way to get them
